82' Martinelli shoots 1 yard over the bar. Man it just doesn't look like we're going to score today.

His first shot attempt told me that he's just really dedicated to this Gervinho cosplay.

I do believe that's the first time Pepe has ever gotten in behind and scored.

Just keep a clean sheet now, no away goals for them.

Arteta must get a percentage of Ceballos's appearance fee.

    Back down to earth now...

If this were a group stage match I'd feel much better, i.e. 3 pts. But it's a home and away aggregate tie, so 1-0 is like a bare minimum result me thinks.

Hope we can hold it until 90'!!!!

IDK but I give him serious kudos. That was no easy finish. And I personally love chipped/dinked goals over the keeper like that. He ended up converting a few mins after his introduction, something that myriad other players couldn't do before him. Well done Nicolas.

OMG, he just said we haven't kept a clean sheet in 14 matches, going back to late January.

As long as they don't score I'm hopeful of going through. If we can nick one there, they'll need 3 to go through.

That whole sequence started with yet another Gabriel ********-up in the back.

That man is entirely coasting on a few good performances in the fall.

Calamitous set piece defending following it.

Leno saved before that and knocked it onto the post and out for a corner.

It wasn't Gabriel it was Cedric needlessly putting him under pressure with a stupid pass.

FT 1-1. Absolutely not surprised at that.

I'm willing to blame both. Gabriel gets passes caught under his feet way too often to be part of any sort of build-from-the-back system. Cedric blasts passes into his teammates at weird heights way too often.

Combine the two and you get this.
