Yeah his radical drop in quality has been pronounced (and damaging).

I file this under the principal of getting-consistently-elite-performances-from-players-is-a-BIG-challenge.

Even KdB, the demigod, has had a few fall-offs in quality in the last year or so, whether they were injury-recover or otherwise.

But Citeh has such phenomenal depth of quality in their squad that Pep can rotate his way around these "little dips".

It seems we need to do the same with Ceballos... give him some more bench time, more training time. And hope that Granit/Thomas/Mo can keep their fitness and quality up, so that we don't end up missing Dani too much.

Xhaka has become so vital and cohesive to our current XI, and he's been used like a total workhorse, that I just pray he can stay fit.

Not at all, I'm saying what would produce the best #narrative. I'd happily take a Prague-Zagreb-Granada draw, and I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal flame out.

Exactly. We just went 1 and 1 against Olympiacos.

Again, this team can beat anyone or lose to anyone on any given day.

I’d love a good team with a storied history in the final. Ajax is my preference.

Yeah, I suppose your reference is to their fanbase doubling down on that rather than disavowing it.

Yes, I refuse to post that image of their supporters that's going around.

it sort of feels like last year, he wanted to audition for a place in real madrid's plan and went full out. then, went back, realised that it did not work and he was never going to get a shot there so came back here more or less deflated.
