It's not a problem when Jesus is in the side because he offers a lot of switches with the wing that destabilize a low block. Eddie has no tools that help break down a low block at all

Suddenly we're getting amazing, line-breaking passing from Gabriel

Hmm. I really pegged Arsenal to get at least one while at home. Come on lads, prove me right!

Haven't had many clear cut chances. Newcastle have defended well, but they've been so cynical that you have to hate them.

Horrific, horrific officiating at every level today. But this is what makes me worried about playing a lot of Eddie. He offers nothing against teams that are going to bunker against us

Really surprised Arteta didn't employ more subs. Definitely would've preferred a more resolute showing at home.

He gets too wound up for big games and it transmits to the team

    FT ARS 0-0 NEW

Maybe the ugliest match we've played in this season.

Newcastle frustrated our offense. You can see why they're the "best" defense in the league. Not to mention their rampant fouling and time wasting.

Refereeing was poor. Including that we shoulda had a PK.

We didn't generate enough or break them down enough.

1 point isn't massively unfair. Howe will be quite pleased... a clearly executed game plan to stifle. Guardiola will be pleased too.

Let's play our B-team at Oxford and rest up our key players for the NLD.

    Then get back to business!

Arteta is a young manager, I don't think he did anything wrong. As for those saying he gets too wound up, eh. Lack of options on the bench is obvious. Onward and Upward
