Love whoever the fan is who can be heard on stream, at the last corner he was shouting for Kiwior to get up, and he was shouting "concentrate, concentrate" when we were defending United possession.
Is it just me or in the offensive 3rd is Trossard selfish to the point of costing us opportunities? Feel like he is Jesus level desperate to score in order to justify more starts and because of that he works himself out of potential assists in order to get the shot off himself.
FT ARS 2-0 MU 1T we completely dominated, but were profligate. 2T we stepped it up and did what the OP requested: put the hammer down… again! Plus closed the gap to 1st place. WELL DONE BOYS. Onward…
I thought that too but if you watch the last shot he takes, there was no space for him to get the ball across the box to Saka and Ode and he won a corner we nearly scored off. I think right now Martinelli, Trossard and Havertz have been instructed to shoot because atm they either score or win a corner which atm are like gold for us.
Tidy win. our mistakes (from Kiwior and Zinny) led to their only real chances. Kiwior deserves props - filled in admirably for XL Gabi.
May be right. I've noticed it in other games as well because of the number of blocked shots he racks. Probably wrong but it feels like Leandro has more blocked shots than the other 3 FWs combined.
WHY would NBC think that we would want to leave the post match coverage of our game to watch the end of Villa beating Brentford??
Crucial 3 points. Crucial. Pool dropping 2 points at Newcastle meant that a draw for us would have had us level with City on 26 points, but still the 9 point buffer on us and Pool would stand and have us in poor shape as we approach the busy Christmas season. A loss today would have been season ending, we wouldn't be overturning 10 points against Pool and depending on the BHA result tomorrow we could have dropped to 5th. These are the games we should be expected to win, and we did and kept a clean sheet. And now the margin cuts to 7 points and Liverpool still have to play Everton away, Spurs away, Man U at home, Man City away, Villa away, Chelsea away, Arsenal at home and BHA away. Plenty of chances for them to drop points. Great start to my morning. Very happy with these 7:15am kick offs. Now we need to kick on against Arsenal B aka Fulham aka "Sorry ESR" because Chelsea have a banana peel match against Spurs next, Liverpool have an away derby against an Everton who hopefully just played themselves into form battering Wolves 4-0 and City have a distinctly average Crystal Palace.
If Jovert is at the end of his contract, can we just pay him whatever he asks for? Please Edit: Typo on "Jover" as so kindly pointed out below
Ehhh, remember the Madison save? I think it's possible Ramsdale gets to it. But don't get me wrong, we (Arteta) made the right choice---Raya is the better keeper, no debate.
That was cryptic. I knew vaguely of JV but didn't know of his relationship to Javert. So now I see I made a typo of Nicolas Jover's surname. Mes excuses!
I actually thought it was slightly deflected by the United player jumping in front of him, making solid contact difficult.
Amorim saw what Arsenal did to his old club in Lisbon and feared they would do the same or worse to his new one.
