Time to deliver another hammering? Were the last 3 matches not enough for you... 5-2, 5-1, 3-0?! OK, OK, then bring on Yanited in one of those midweek EPL rounds, of a crammed fixture schedule.

Seriously, even though we sit now 2nd (but above of Chel$ea based only on the alphabet AFAIK), and Citeh dropped so kindly to 5th, we can’t take anything for granted.

New boy Amorim notched his first win today, and it was an emphatic 4-0 over Everton. So watch out, they may be coming back to something resembling their old selves.

And we picked up a few new injuries this week (Partey & Merino... still not fully disclosed) but hopefully nobody else from yesterday’s match, nor interim training.

If we keep playing the kind of football we’ve seen in these last matches, forget about Liverpool, focus on the prey that’s on the table, win by more than 1 goal, then I think that previous wobble will be completely gone from our rearview mirror, and...

    A run is on!

Another must win, United actually look like they are trying to play football under their new manager.

They will be dangerous, but we are in imperious form right now.

4-1 to the Arsenal, United will pinch a goal but Star Man will score 1, set up assists to Martinelli and Kai and Gabi XL will continue his scoring streak.

The draw was held in Manchester, with quite a few Mancs in attendance, the groans when they got us at the Grove was iconic.

They know they are going to roll over.

I have seen United fans saying the draws are rigged against them, when they had *checks notes* Wigan last year and we had *checks notes* Liverpool last year, and yet they are the ones who its rigged against.

There was a presser yesterday and no team news shared, other than this: a few players were held out of training as precaution. So, as expected, it seems we'll probably be missing one or two from the squad: Partey? Merino? Cala?? Gabriel???

good to see Merino made the bench. Hope he can get minutes in 2T

wondering what to make of MLS not being on the bench again. Hopefully it’s for minutes to put Zinny and KT3 in the shop window in January

Praying Cala/Gabby are just rest or mins mgmt. And not anything more serious.

ps. Also praying that Zinny and Jakob have solid defensive performances.

They are definitely beatable - especially with Maguire, Malacia, and Bruno having to try to defend Saka and MO8. Hopefully we start strong and can put this away early

4' Martinelli converts early, but Kai is offside in the build-up. Correct call.

8' - Great pressure and possession so far. Martinelli wins first corner of the match...Partey is clear but heads it wide!

MANU giving up corner after corner. Partey had one he should have scored.

Another great chance on another corner. Martinelli skies the rebound just over the bar. Need to convert one of the chances soon.

BIG miss by Martinelli there. And if I’m not mistaken, he pooped his pants at the same time. :)

Genuinely impressive from Maguire to avoid a handball on that Saka blasted cross.

Guarnacho flubbed that one. But I generally like that guy and wouldn’t mind him on my team.
