I didn't see anything about this posted on here yet. Van der Saar went down about midway through the first half after diving after a wide blast. Thought he was gonna come out and it would be Howard's time to shine as he was warming up on the sidelines, but he stayed in the game, didn't seem to have any problems handling a backpass seconds later, and now looks fine.
