"they say pace is frightening, well i tell you what, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie could make Scary Movie 4 all by himself!" - Radio commentator. Unfortunate comparison's have been made to the fake Ronaldo.
HT. Described as a "sensational" first half of football. Quincy's goal is described as the goal of the tournament so far. (He came in as a sub for Smith.) Ray Houghton, the color commentator, says Senderos is having a nightmare. Houghton also says our pace is stunning, and he includes Danny K. as one of the speedy overlapping attackers. The PBP guy said Danny's looked good, and Houghton said basically "yeah, but he hasn't had a lot to do, has he?" I guess Steve Watson's playing wide right and isn't exactly giving Danny fits. I've got audio - if anyone wants the link e-mail me directly at dwinkler@informmortgage.com. Don't PM me, I won't check it.
I am sure that someone has commented about this already but did you know that we have Michael Jordan on the bench? When did he take up footie?
Quincy dribbles past 3 Everton defenders squares it to van Persie, who sets up Lupoli and.................... Goal! 2-1 to Arsenal. Lupoli becomes the first ever italian goal-scorer for Arsenal.
Yeah i know but he's achieved about as much as Quincy has in his Arsenal career & he's injury prone. Quincy has the whole season to soldify his place as 5th choice striker.
the injury occurred in the Charity Shield, at the time they said he'd be out until at least January...i thought it was a cruciate ligament injury in his knee, which would make it a longer rehab
Everton go on a kicking spree. Cahill picks up a yellow, Kilbane already on a yellow with a borderline kick, and Edu gets in on the act, too.
