True but between an offside, some badly misplaced passing, running into players with the ball when dribbling past his man is not in his tool kit, and over hitting two crosses, we are getting nothing out of him.

If we had a viable option you get him into form by bringing him on at the 75th minute and tell him to play off the last shoulder against tired legs.

 

The problem is that Martinelli is frequently isolated. Take of Merino and bring on Nwaneri.

Martinelli isolates himself, either through slow thought or a determination to beat his man multiple times. He should be killing Young.

The biggest problem that I have with Arteta's offense is that when Saka and/or MO don't produce moments of magic, we look absolutely pedestrian.
