I think the Portsmouth and Spurs games show the guy doesnt always know best - of course he wasn't helped by those cheating Spurs clowns. I pray that the Gunners win the CL and those cheating b*****rs get their just deserts. While I had admired the way they had rebuilt their team to the Blanchflower level I have lost all respect for Spurs now.
PS. Shouldnt that Spurs game be replayed - like the one where Arsenal (Kanu) scored after an injury return ball situation?

I think Reyes has been playing fine, tracking back, getting the ball, still having a go, he's just not been in the box much to miss shots. I mean he was up and down the wing yesterday tracking back and helping out. I think people expect him to be like Bobby and get 15 a year, perhaps he still will, but its not his game right now.

Villarreal rested 10 of their starters - hence the loss.

he started off looking very sharpe and skillful, he just doesnt look the same player anymore. he doesnt really ever seem to go anywhere with the ball. the end product is always lacking

That's why I said that they had two eyes on the semi-final since they rested everyone and lost. We had one eye, since we started a competitive team...or so we thought...and tied. Sorry, little mixup I guess. ;)

Looks like it is going to be

    --------Lehmann------------
    Eboue-Toure-Campbell-Flamini
    --------Gilberto--------------
    Hleb-Cesc-Ljungberg-Reyes
    ---------Henry---------------

That is, if this article is to be trusted: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,277-2149308,00.html

i think any other team and we would of lost. spuds could of had 4th place home and hosed.

as usual they can never get one over us.

i think villarreal had their 2 eyes on the game and then some.

my question is, if we get a goal and get to half time 1-1 or 1-0 does AW pull kolo since he is in yellow danger

Depends who's on the bench. I'd like to say "Hell yes" but who knows.

I think this is going to a dogfight and my prediction is a 1-1 draw.

Go on Arsenal, get in the CL Finals!

This will still give us some major money to even get into the final right?

I saw that, but their goalkeeper Viera (who was suspended for the first leg at Highbury) apparently was at fault for the first goal. Also Tacchinardi is suspended.

i say 1-1 draw in another tense game.

You guys will cause a massive influx to the town of roughly 38,000.
There are more people at your home matches usually than in the entire town!

    El Madrigal holds 23,000.

I would guess that the majority of the city is going to be vastly empty Tuesday evening and will be in attendance.

Campbell will start, so it might be too much to change 2 out of the back 4, but we will see. The only person I don't want to see in the squad is Song. He just isn't good enough.

And this is from someone who likes to see cygan's name on the list...

I agree with you here.... I wouldnt put Gael in along with Cambell. However, i dont think AW would put Clichy in the lineup unless it was his plan to have him starting left back. I mean i highly doubt AW would use Clichy as a sub. However, with Flamini on the bench, and if we score early, he can put Flamini on for say Fabregas and use him for more defensive purposes. Im just trying to think of what Arsene may do.

Me 3. I don't think that the Arsenal will take the match lightly with a lead going in, but neither will VR. They put on a poor showing at Highbury, but I am pretty confident they will come out ready to play at home.

So I know that Viera is back in goal for VR and Tacchianardi is out through suspension. But remind me, perhaps you can help me here, Pints, your two centrebacks that were injured...still injured? I thought one of them was out for the season, and the other was doubtful for the return leg.

Losing Bil Phil could be a blow, but I think AW knows better than we do about Sol's current form. I'm sure Sol will get up for this match. It's huge!

    Oh...and I'm nervous as well...
