Well, sit down, strap in, and hold on to your butts, it is time for another season. For people on this side of the pond, it'll be on USA Network. Kick off is 10 AM Eastern/4 AM Hawaiian Kai Havertz hat trick to start the season, 3-0 to the good.
We are back, LES FOGGIN' GO! I think we get a 4-0 start to really set the standard. Jesus, Odegaard, Kai and Rice to score.
Excited to see The Arsenal back in action. I can only hope the rest Odegaard achieved this off-season will be our X factor in what shapes up to be the most fatigued footballing campaign in the history of the Premier League.

I would think that may motivate him to look for an option. He's already expressed frustration in the past and then is left out of the first match day squad of the season.
I thought having 3 players named Gabriel in your team was rare. Wolves are starting 3 guys named Gomes today. Toti Gomes, Joao Gomes, and Rodrigo Gomes, none of whom are related.
I paid zero attention to most of the off season news. Shocked to see Ramsdale is still at the club. Like, I took for granted that he was gone. How in the world hasn't he pushed for at least a loan away? Regardless - solid lineup. no real surprises.
To all you folks who tend to post lineups… This season EPL has switched from -60mins to -75mins for releasing lineups
Supposedly they will only do a loan if it includes an obligation to buy. That seems unnecessary to me, he's 24 and signed thru 2028, a regular loan where he plays a lot could boost his value for next summer. Not thrilled with the idea of the backup defenders being 3 guys with injury concerns (OZ, Tomi, Timber) but maybe they have faith in MLS and Heaven to be depth if needed.
Been very little interest. Newcastle & Chelsea were supposedly interested in a transfer. Newcastle was the only one to openly pursue and they were put off by price. A couple smaller EPL clubs (most notably Southampton) and a couple Euro clubs (most notably Ajax) asked for loan but we rejected. If we do a loan, I feel like it will happen in the last week of the window.
I noticed it was posted earlier than normal. I don't like that you have to slide over to the 2nd image to see the lineup.
Maybe use a different web source for lineups? Slightly surprising that Martinelli starts over Trossard. Otherwise pretty much as expected. COYG!!!!
