Clement booked for a foul on Kanu.
Henry goes on a left wing run, but his cross ends on top of the cage.
Re: 39th min
That was posted about 15 seconds before I saw it on TV. Looks like FSW's definition of "live" is the same as ESPN's was during the World Cup.
Henry's been getting pushed around a bit and he seems pissed. I expect a spectacular goal for retribution soon.
The Highbury faithful have started the "Boring Boring Arsenal" chant.
Edu plays one through, but Wiltord was off.
Re: Re: 39th min
Blame the Arsenal radio feed. Maybe FSW doesn't trust the English not to swear.
I love it! Did everyone see that article on Arsenal.com about the goal he scored against WHU? Priceless!
Keown and Campbell have been very solid in the air all half.
Sol Campbell breaks up a solid scoring chance after Keown was beaten. Roberts unable to finish.
Arsenal 3, West Bromwich Albion 0.
The Gunners have run rampant and get two goals from their backline. Time to see some of the kids (Aliadiere, Toure).
Re: 45th minute
Very scary! Well, it would've been if we weren't up 3-0...
Re: 45th minute
Yikes! That was a big clustershemp, with Seaman out of the goal, Roberts with a clear chance after beating Keown, but then first Campbell then Seaman clearing the ball away.
Roberts has been fairly impressive so far. I think I heard Christian Miles say he's the nephew of WBA legend Cyrille Regis who, if I'm not mistaken, was one of the first black players in England.
In other action, two of our least-favorite teams are in action, and both are on top.
Tottenham leads Charlton 1-0 at the half. ManUre leads Xlokjsdflkjwer, that team from Hungary, 3-0.
Jason Roberts is a very good player. I had him on my fantasy team @ football.sports.com for a few years - always got me extra points for being a lower division player. I had decided to pick him up after reading about him in 442.
Arsenal castoff Junichi Inamoto has struck three times for Fulham, who lead Bologna 5-3 on aggregate in UEFA Cup Qualifying....
I'm not a Junichi fan but I do think we gave up on him too easily. Arsene always says the foreign players will need at least a year to adjust, but I don't understand how management wouldn't give a bit more adjustment time to the guy who has travelled the farthest for Arsenal.
Although it would have been laughable if Manure had been knocked out of CL by a Hungarian team, it is good to have them playing more games also.
Vieira leads his charges out of the tunnel.
Looks like neither side has elected to make changes at the break and we're underway in the second half.
They would have played on in the UEFA Cup if they'd lost.
Wiltord leads Henry, but the speedster was unable to collect.
Henry's ball for Wiltord is a little too strong and runs out.
Stupid, stupid goal.
50th minute. Dobie scores to make it 3-1 as Cole and Seaman conspire to gift WBA a goal. Cole with a poor touch right in Dobie's path, who rolls a soft shot under Dave.
Scott Dobie burns Ashley Cole and beats Seaman to reduce the deficit.
Arsenal 3, West Brom 1.
Jason Roberts feeds Igor Balis, and his drive whistles wide.
Time to wake up, boys.
