I guess as we watch we can comment. First off.........whats up with the lineup? Garry? Who's that? Kanu, who's that? LOL Looks as if both managers are going to treat this as a chance to rest up for the final. Of course, Henry isnt going to miss this one!

The only thing I see mattering here is the golden boot. Seems like a goalfest so far. 3 for JP21 and 2 for Pires. Hopefully TH14 will get in on the act.

So now that they don't need to win, they can score at will. What's up with that?

    Way to go Pennant!

I agree with that. But at this rate I also hope he doesn't play much in the second half to keep him healthy for the Cup Final.

Good to see Pires putting in a couple, too!

I hope this bodes well for the 17th.

Holy sh!t. After the weekend's results I completely forgot that there was a match today, and then I happened to check the live scores on soccernet and there it is: 5-0 25 minutes in. Wow.

For anyone (like me) who forgot to tape the match off of FSW today, looks like it's being replayed tonight at 8 Eastern.

    BOING!!!

"Pires doesn't care anymore, let's get rid of him!"

"Pennant is absolute pants, let's dump him!"

I have no idea what you can say about this game, it's meaningless, but, it sort of isn't.

I have really no idea how to comment on this. Who is playing for Southampton, their Ladies side?

Well no first half goals for TH14...I guess that means no goals for him today.

So Im watching an Arsenal side with so many new faces that they appear out of sync. I go to the bus stop to pick up my 6 year old and when I get back I see we have sored 3. WHAT? Sorry I missed Pennants brilliance. I hope FSW shows me what I missed

If you are not watching and are wondering why TH14 hasnt scored it is because he is too busy setting everyone up. He looks amzing with the ball doing everything but putting it in the net.

I'll still be at work during the replay tonight. I hope FSW shows it again when I can actually watch it.

Yeah, seriously. Where was this urgency and energy before? Ahh well, too late to cry about it now.

My FSW is not coming out for some reason. Just had the cable installed yesterday but we seem to be getting some problems. I dunno, hopefully it'll show up by 8 and I can see the almighty Jermaine Pennant with my very own eyes.

Actually, if you look at Pires's play you can see a very different game from him. His first touch is a wonder and he is absolutely spot on in shooting. Than look at Henry. He has been every where doing everything. Though he was obviously disappointed in not scoring(did you see his expression as he sat on the turf?) his delivery was unbelievable.

Look at SOTON, though. Their marking was horrendous because every time Henry got the ball he had 2 or 3 markers. He still was able to WOW them with his foot skills and get the ball to an open player.

Another reason is all the games before this meant something to the other team, this game meant nothing to Soton.
