DeBruyne seems to have something to prove today. Denied of a hat trick on a viciously curving shot, only by a phenomenal save by our MVP.
Yeah I have to replace some timer light switches. But I'll wait til FT just because that's the kind of guy I am.
The whole team is having a nightmare, but Guendouzi is at the center of it all. He shouldn't see the field after halftime. Gross dive, constantly beaten in midfield, out of position at all times.
If we don't pull this back a bit, or if it gets even worse, this is looking bad for Freddie. He said he had a call from Wenger this week but wouldn't disclose the advice received. But it appears that Arsene didn't say "look back at 2015 and how we beat them then" Boos at HT. 0-3 down.
Well im sure thats the end of any good will for these players. Cant wait for to see what happens by the time January rolls in. Atrocious defense.
Can't compare us with City and the talent they have. But alot of these goals are based on lack of effort and boneheaded school boy footballing mistake. Also the lack of pride to not get beaten down at home is shocking. City aren't even celebrating their goals it's like a preseason or training session for them.
Okay, lads. When you're team is down big at halftime it's crucial to get back to basics. If you can't win the match win the 2nd half and show you remember how to play, can show work rate, etc.
It feels like we have 8 players. One weird bounce and City is off to the races with a 3-v-2 counter. Our midfield might as well just go off.
There's lots of blame to go around, but Ozil seems to be having a poor day. At least from the glimpses I've gotten. (I've kinda stopped watching closely... in fact I haven't really watched this match closely since 2-0) Edit: minutes later Mesut comes off before the hour mark, replaced by ESR. As some of the fans boo him he angrily kicks his gloves into the stands.
Dunno why people are getting upset. You need a team to beat ManC and we are at best a group of talented players.
Chambers does his best to gift them a 4-0 lead, only to be bailed out by his keeper who came off his line very quickly.
It's one thing to get beat by a good team, it's another thing to look inept doing so. I wasn't counting on a win today but at home I was expecting a finer display. Form matters.
Torreira comes off to a bit of appreciative applause. Replaced by Willock. Meanwhile big chunks of fans are gone or heading for the exits.
From my minimal attention to 2T, it seems that Citeh took their foot off the gas. Happy to just keep it 3-0? Maybe not wanting to embarrass us and Freddie too badly? (not sure that last bit is in their DNA though)
