WE should pick up De Jong and Kompany. Since they're in town........

We could bring in Kompany to be a DM, but Wenger has already ruled him out I believe.

It's good to finally have games on the TV again. Nice 4 hour block of games today and tomorrow. Not sure how Hamburg are behind, they seem to be playing better than Madrid.

So... would Madrid-Hamburg discussion be out of place in this thread? Anyone else watching?

We might as well. It's a friendly.

Woke up around 8:30, having breakfast and watching this game as a build up to our game later.

    EDIT: guess we are moving

Thank you. I've always sucked at the whole time zone calculation stuff.

Prince, you gotta stop with the nicknames. Out of all the many bad nicknames i've heard for our players "Latino Heat" is by far the worst. Frankly, it's embarrassing. Calling him "Speedy Gonzales" would be less offensive.

Latino Heat is actually in homage to the late great Eddie Guerrero... and since Guerrero was also Mexican, I feel it fits...

and isnt one of Raul's nicknames Speedy Gonzalez?

Hollywood was a joke me and my friends made for him because he thought he was big time last year... and because of Nicky Barnes in American Gangster being called Hollywood Nick

and if you look at the pic... its obvious who the Chef is...

The Chef? I have no clue. But i'll guess it's Aaron "Gordon" Ramsey? Embarrassing.

Eddie Guerrero was from Texas, and i don't really see the comparison to Vela. Is Carlos' personal motto "Cheat to Win"?

And I've never heard Raul called "Speedy".

What pic are you talking about?
