    arsenal (r) 2 - 0 Portsmouth (r)

denilson made his debut today and ive heard conflicting reports. arsenal.com are saying he played great but ive read someone who went to the game said he clearly looked under-par and seemed overwhelmed by it all. walcott was involved as was merida(another great game), song(played well), hoyte and aliadiere(who grabbed 2). i dont no if maybe MMM will be on soon to post a report, if not just go to arsenal.com even tho i wonder that they maybe over-hyping denilson's performance

i bet he loves working for us as the reserve team goalkeeper. he seems to never have much to do. JO'C and MC had another solid game aswell apparently, with JO'C showing a great authority to his game

sorry, i thouhgt i better put JO'C because when i try and spell his name it comes out like this 'Joe O'Ceruill', which is probably completely wrong. and 'MC' is Matthew Connolly, who i'd imagine was paired with O'Ceruill

I wasnt taking the p*ss or anything dont worry, I know who you were talking about. Was just wondering if they paired O'Ceruill (sp?) with Garry in the centre like they did aginst Spurs thats all

o'cuereall i think is the spelling, im too lazy to go check...ive only seen him in preseason, but he is calm on the ball and strong in the tackle, good find from what ive seen.

My understanding, based on articles on SkySports, was that, even IF we liked him, he was going back to Kilmarnock until either January or next Summer.

For those who saw the game, since Clichy was in, I'm assuming Traore was on the right? How did he do? I was impressed with him during preseason but if he has the versatility to switch flanks, it'd be awesome.

arsenal beat charlton reserves with senderos and clichy and baptista playing.

merida got a goal and charlton scored and own goal. charlton pulled one back though.

the match reports says baptista was lively and we again had the lions share of possesion.

some new names in our lineup as well.
