First game is tonight, at home to Charlton. Quite a few players have gone this year. Mannone, Luppoli, Smith, Muamba, Bendtner, Larssonn... But some new ones have come in. O'Ceuaril, Van Den Berg, Brazite and Merida. Tonights kick off is at 7pm. I might go, but if so, it will be by myself as none of my friends want to go!!! :(

Yeah our reserves are looking better and better...shame about the first team though. ;)

I wish we could put these kids into some kind of personal timetravel/incubator thingy and have them come out ready to slot right into the first team tomorrow. Our squad would be destroying teams like A.Villa and ManCity. Oh well...must have patience...

Went to watch them play tonight and was worth the fee (which was free anyway) We won 4-0 and had an excellent line up:

    Manuel Almunia
    Matthew Connolly
    Armand Traore
    Pascal Cygan
    Ashley Cole
    Theo Walcott
    Alex Song
    Mathieu Flamini
    Mark Randall
    Emmanuel Adebayor
    Jeremie Aliadiere

A pic of Underhill and all the players on the field.

A pic of Adebayor (10) and Ash who had just been fouled.

    Theo taking a corner.

I got a few clips which I will post up in a bit.

Wow, that's a really strong lineup. Looks like Wenger still thinks some of the first teamers are short of match fitness.

Who's going to be our strike pair now that lupoli and bendtner are on loan.

We've got a bloke called Marc Elston and Stokes might revert to striker and I suppose Ali'll be getting some time

Can you tell me in which position were playing Connolly and Traore?

It seemed that Connolly was at right back and Traore at CB tonight, which I thought was bit strange. Walcott was doing a lot of defending as well. All we could hear in the second half was Manuel shouting at Theo to mark people.

I got to go and im so excited even though i only made the 2nd half because of the construction work on the tube and not realizing how far out Barnet is. Still it was cool to see such a strong line up, got some good pics and met some nice poeple. Just happy i could at least see Arsenal play even though its not the first team and not at Ash Grove. Going to see the stadium tomorrow and take some pics.

Thanks for the info and i seriously thought about staying but i am leaving and returning back to the US on the 7th from Amsterdam. So as much as i would love to stay i would like to see Brussels and Amsterdam before leaving. If it was Arsenal playing i would definately stay but i will go take the stadium tour and call it good.

Damnit, just looked and the earliest tour is Sep 6th. Oh well i will go and take pics and i guess call it good. Just gives me an excuse to come back. :D

A few booed him a couple of times, but mostly the fans chanted his name.
