http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/fsctv/soccermatches It's finally on the schedule, now I just need to get Sunday morning.
before you gooners on the east coast start complaining about the 7am wake up for the game. just remember that us gooners on the west coast have to do it weekley. and even earlier sometimes such as this game.
The only thing that would have been sweeter is if they cancelled the broadband thing altogether due to the outrage from the fans. After all, FOX was going to put out O.J's book 'If I Did It How I Did It" until enough people complained and then they yanked it before publication OK...I can dream, can't I?
Tivo or the equivalent is free. At least for Dish Network, just ordered it today about 5 hours ago. Gonna be installed just in time for me to watch us open the season with a win.
If you have cable or satelite, it (tivo or DVR) can come with it or is only a few bucks extra a month. Well worth it.
A LIVE Arsenal match...I'm LOVIN IT! Undisturbed by our little ones, curled up on the sofa...I swear within 5 minutes of the match starting, I will be pumping my fists and cursing at the TV. Ahh, it's so great to have football back.
Ok, so I perused my Comcast guide, sunday from 4AM to 6AM is Youth Soccer Highlights on FSC. Now I realize that sometimes its wrong, and I really hope so. Does anyone else's TV guide say that as well? Mostly curious for the Comcast guys. I mean, it has to be on since its now on their website. Also, watch the game live AND DVR it. True fans would do that.
That was the originally scheduled programming. Since the decision to air the match wasn't, apparently, until today it is unlikely the information has been updated to the online channel guides. This could post a problem for some with their Tivos. You may need to just record whatever is listed there if the Arsenal match is up by Saturday.
that Sparta Prague game is kinda a big deal...any news on that? I know someone mentioned Setanta wasn't showing it. I've already watched the 7 preseason games online, and i dont mind watching this one either. But its the perfect time to go get lunch at the pub and watch an Arsenal game.
Ah yes indeed. There is a good chance I'll still be up from a night of drinking. I just hope I don't wake the neighbors.
Anybody heard anything about Arsenal TV yet? I've been searching everywhere to find news about it but can't find a thing. Arsenal TV was a great option for people w/o Setanta.
I don't know about you, but there's no way I'm sleeping when Arsenal are playing. Immediately after, well, that's another story.
This is fantastic news, looks like I'll have to drage myself out of bed, and I couldn't be more excited.
I emailed both Gol TV and Arsenal, but haven't gotten a response. Arseblogger posted something today about Setanta negotiating with the club to carry the new Arsenal TV channel. However, Setanta USA already carry the Chelsea TV and Man United TV programs, so Arsenal TV doesn't seem to be an option. Doesn't look promising, but, neither Gol TV nor FSC are very good at informing viewers about programming, so maybe Arsenal TV will magically reappear on Gol TV again.
NorCal fan here.....my alarm will be set at 3:55am on Sunday. Then after the game, I'm going back to sleep. Then I'll probably watch ManUre vs Reading.
Same for me, but I'll be watching on TiVo around 7-8ish. I would prefer to watch live, but that's just too early for me.
Denver Fan here. 5am start here, so I don't have it much better. Just happy to have Arsenal football back!
Didn't wanna get way too excited before I actually saw it on the 'on-screen' guide from my local cable company. Just checked on the telly ....and there it is. 1:00am Sunday.. Arsenal v Fulham
