    Check the BBC website.

Sorry the PBP is so crappy, there just really is nothing to talk about. The football is horrendous. The commentators are harsh on City, although they probably should be up. Hopefully things will pick up in the second half.

thanks for the link...I didnt really think there would be much action tonight was expecting a 1-0 win hopefully that will be the case...

Off topic question what is the difference between the Carling Cup and FA cup I know that the FA cup is basically a full blown tournamnet between all english sides just dont really get the Carling Cup...how its picked only thing I know is that the winner gets in to the UEFA cup. Thanks again...

Great news on wenger signing a 3 year contract...

Arsenal are controlling possession so far this half. Flood gives away, but Lupoli cant control.

The FA Cup is run by the English FA and happens to be the oldest football cup competition in the world. The League Cup is run by the English League and was I believe introduced in the 1960s to compete with the FACup and to draw more money for the clubs.
The UEFA place element of it, I think, is a more recent innovation.

Sobeski played through but Sinclair was in an offside position.

Lupoli hit a low shot from 20+ yards out. City counter. Alumania came out and made a mess of it. Cygan clears off the line. Still 0-0. Lucky we are. Cygan heads away the corner.

Sobeski takes a shot from outside the area, saved by Alumania.

Pennant plays a ball over the top, but it's too long for RvP, out for a goalkick.

    Southampton-2
    Colchester-1

Corner for City. Flood takes from the left. Headed away by Cygan again. Mills flicks, Senderos volley's it away. Sobeski to SwP, Fowler was there but Senderos saves the day, behind for a corner.

Cygan clears twice, and RvP takes it up. City recover and get the ball back. Smith is down.

Smith down. Sounds like a knee prob.

Strong spell of pressure from City.

Good stuff from City here, they have come out and are taken the game to Arsenal since the half.

Sounds like Van Persie hasn't impressed today. Lupoli started brightly, but he seems to have gone quiet.

Cygan - our best player tonight?
