Arsenal Ladies nominated for Women of the Year awards

    Attention fellow soccer fans in the US this just recently in from Arsenal.com. Arsenal LFC have been nominated for the Women of the Year Award for 2007 by a council of over 40 women. Arsenal guests for the dinner included players Kelly Smith and England captain Faye White MBE. This is exciting times for womens soccer and will be a great way to put womens soccer on the map worldwide. Stars like USA's legendary Tina Turner won it back 2005(on that same year Arsenal LFC won the BBC Best Non-Professional Team Of The Year 2005 ). Lets add the Ladies to that list and back the European champions to more individual glory!
