Arsenal fans crash Tottenham fans facebook player poll

I know it might seem petty, childish and even plain silly, but from old school friends to work mates, even in some cases family and of course now the internet there will always be banter between Arsenal and Tottenham fans and often it will be fierce, but yesterday was one of the funniest in recent times.

The official Tottenham Fans page on Facebook have been running a Poll (Question as it appears on Facebook) for its fans to vote on who is the best player in all positions since the Premier league has formed and yesterday it was the turn of centre backs.
So of course the obvious happened, a few Arsenal lads and ladies started voting for Sol Campbell, which turned into a few more and then before you know it we were voting for Sol in our thousands.

The initial target was to get Sol voted into the top 2, so he would appear in the best 11 for them, but as the votes kept coming in he was close to beating King as the best ever CentreBack for Tottenham, then the inevitable happened, those in charge of the page pulled the plug, deleting the Poll and ending the fun.

As I said at the start, childish, yeah, silly yeah, but funny oh yeah and without even preseason starting it’s 1 nil to The Arsenal !

Seems tottenham kept the votes before deleting the poll, and Sol, came in 2nd !

They did try and put some spin on it..."Ledley King won Thursday's poll with 41.04% of the vote as we put together our central defensive pairing.He is partnered by Sol Campbell who, after a slow start in the vote, gathered pace (with a little help from across North London...) to finish second with 37.89%, ahead of Gary Mabbutt on 10.51%. So we have two Spurs home-grown players at centre-half"

Shame the poll was deleted before Sol won the poll, but good work everyone !
