I've been there twice for Arsenal games and never seen any trouble. But i agree, wearing colors isn't a good idea.

What a lame ass draw. Upton Park is such a shithole. Wanted away to Accrington Stanley or something.

I'm gonna love Fratton Park. That's one of the stadiums I really wanted to get to before they go down in May. Plus, it's a new stadium to tick off on my list. That's really why I didn't want West Ham.

It's a nice, proper football ground and I'm looking forward to going back, but the facilities are the worst in the league.
All I wanted was an away draw and West Ham's one of the better ones imo since it's easy to get to by public transportation and we're getting 5200 tickets.

Mr. Ziegler is right, we will have lots and lots of Gooners at the West Ham game. Should be a great time. They should have the date finalized in the next few days. I will update all as soon as I find out.

And I chatted with AFC this morning, and asked about the security issue, and they said that they have not had issues there in years. Though, I would not advise rolling up to the match in your home kit. Scarf under the jacket or in your pocket is your best bet.

Plus, we will have Mr. Lellenberg with us . . . and no one wants to mess with that!

Security thing is overblown- west ham gets a lot of hype because of what happens when they play millwall and all that, but I had absolutely no problems when I went there(I wasn't wearing colors, mind you). I did see plenty of gooners wearing colors when I was walking up green street, and nobody was giving them shit. The game's become so gentrified that you'll only have trouble if you're looking for trouble.

Why the change on the t-shirts, out of curiosity?

Does anyone know if there has been a date set for the Arsenal/Bolton game yet? I'm going to be in London the night of the 5th and would love to see the Gunners in action at Emirates. ESPN, Yahoo, Skysports, and Barclay's all say the 5th, but Arsenal's website says the 6th?

It's confirmed for the 6th since the West Ham match was moved to the 3rd.

And since our match is on the 3rd, I think Aaron and I might try to get to this guy on the 2nd, if anyone else was interested: Millwall v Derby, R3, 15:00.

You guys must be itching to leave soon....not long now!

Am very much looking forward to reading about all the exploits, and seeing some photos.
