I knew about the amphetamines, but the other stuff. The irony is, he seemed so stable.

    Okay, how about this.

The guy who lost to Hitler at least had a blimp named after him.

Don't temp me! A few Frenchmen around the house would be good...cut the grass, pick the cotton, feed the pigs (wait a moment..that's redundant)...!

Er please don't start mentioning Turkey. No-one in the currant EU wants them in. They will bring the EU down and will have loads of immigration problems especiall in the UK. That isn't a scare tactic, its fact. Sod Turkey - they can join the middle east for all I care......

I didn't say we can't turn them down, but we have to do it tactfully and with the right reasons... (not religion)

They will flood Britain with immigrants and claim loads of state benifits whilst not contributing anything to the country. Not to mention the country will claim twice as many subsidies as anyone else as they are so poor. Not sure how this will benifit the EU, therefore application turned down. Good enough?

    Re: Arrogant Europeans

Yeah, Yanks. America is more than the US, and don't you forget it. Arrogant Europeans know this. In fact, they think Americans are stupid but they are not just talking about you. They believe all of us in the American continent are stupid.

    :D

See my Edit of the previous post.

As long as the application isn't turned down because of religious reasons or other cultural fear factors pushed by the right...

Some things to consider about Turkey:

    1. They might claim a lot of subsidies at the beginning, but in the long term (after "renovating" the country) you take away the reason for Turks to flood the West as they currently do anyway.

    2. Turkey has huge potential as an emerging market. It would also open the door to the Middle East (can you say oil pipeline?)

Right now is probably not a good point in time, but in 15-20 years (once Eastern Europe is taken care of) I think Turkey should seriously be considered...

To the extent Europeans have any influence on American public opinion, it works to the advantage of Bush and the Republicans. Realize that much.

In 2000, since Al Gore received more votes than George Bush, European attacks on American foreign policy could be viewed as anti-Bush, not anti-American. Now that a majority has voted for Bush, we'll see a lot more blatant anti-Americanism. It should be interesting.

    Not even better kebobs?

Actually, I kind of feel sorry for the Turks. They're sort of the Puerto Ricans of Europe. Part of Europe, but not reeeeeeeally part of Europe, at least in the minds of Europeans.

To those 59 million Americans who voted for Bush, I ask

WHAT THE F_U_C_K WERE YOU THINKING?

Was it the lies about Iraq, the utter lack of cognitive ability, the immaturity and closemindedness, or the ignorance about the world that turned you on about Bush? I'd really like to know.

You should feel very ashamed.

To those 76 million eligible voters who didn't vote, I ask

WHAT THE F_U_C_K WERE YOU THINKING?

Millions have died for your freedom and right to vote, and you can't even be bothered to get off your a$$ and vote?

You should feel very ashamed.

You know whats sad? I dont even want to bother defending the US here. The results speak for themselves, and I dont feel like trying to live in denial.

And that, my friends, is how an Earthquake fan and a Galaxy fan can come to the same opinion.

15 percent of the german people have no job our number in the US is 5.3 or 5.4. Maybe the Germans should invade France again and become 100 pecent employed in the army. Germans hate wars they did not start and love the ones they started.

I hear Stalin wasnt no dirty no flip flopper.

And Mao Tse Tung knew how to lay down the law on "terrorists".

And Pol Pot didnt go testifying to Congress about any of HIS illegal operations in Cambodia.

Most of all, each qualifies under the exacting standards of "anybody".

The US has become the death star and we are being led by Darth Vader. Europeans are envious because as everyone knows Darth Vader was one bad a** and Luke Skywalker was just a poser. Anyway, Lord Vader had much cooler transportation.

Enjoy our status in the world cause secretly we all want to be the bad guys.

To the one American who posted this I say:

Who the fvck are you to tell me I should be ashamed? If you don't like the way I voted and can't accept that I made a choice based on what I felt was best then you can kiss my ass in Macy's front window at high noon. I certainly wouldn't take a position that since you voted for Kerry that you are some sort of incompetent boob.

    Get over yourself, and quickly.
