Armas to be inducted to USL Soccer Hall of Fame

    Armas one of of Seven Inductees for United
    Soccer League Hall of Fame


    Ceremony to take place on November 7th


    The four players that will be inducted are Chicago Fire midfielder
    Chris Armas, Columbus Crew forward Brian McBride, former D.C. United
    defender Tony Sanneh and Women's Canadian National Team star Charmaine
    Hooper.

    Armas played for the Long Island Rough Riders from 1994 to 1995
    while McBride and Sanneh were teammates with the Milwaukee Rampage in 1994.
    All three players are now regulars on the U.S. National Team.

    Charmaine Hooper played for the Chicago Cobra's of the W-League and is the all-time leading scorer for the Canadian National Team.

    The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on the opening
    day of the United Soccer Leagues Annual Operations Meetings, which begin on
    November 7th.

    That's great. He's a classy guy and no one deserves it more than him!
