Was watching the 'Quakes v. Fire this weekend on MLS Soccer Saturday and realized there was no trace of Ariel Graziani. I quickly referred to my Burn Media Guide and noticed he is not on San Jose's roster! Where did he go and why? Please advise! Thanks!!!!!
Welcome to 2003. Today is June 3rd. The former owner of the baseball Texas Rangers is President of the United States. The man ruling Irag is a fellow named Paul Bremer. And the NASDAQ is trading around 1600 down from 5000 2 or 3 years ago. Ariel Graziani was "loaned" to Barclenoa of Ecuador late in 2002 as a salary saving move for the Earthquakes. It is doubtful Graziani will ever grace these shores again.
BurnFanToo, Welcome to BS. Please ignore the snide remarks of some of your fellow posters who are probably having a bad day.
I was trying to be funny, not snide. I am a Graziani fan and was disappointed to see him slide away from Dallas and MLS. Say what you will, but the dude was a quality striker. DC could use a player like him, among others.
BurnFanToo, I think you'll love this clip of one Ariel's all-time best goals. He scored it for Barcelona vs. Boca Juniors earlier this year. Click on the link in the first post of this thread and enjoy! https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37059
we can only hope. last i heard he was getting sacked by some austrian team because he sucks (newsflash, huh?) oh, and welcome to bigsoccer burnfantoo.
i guess serbia and montenegro gave lothar the challenge that he couldn't find in the austrian first division. my apologies.
I would love to see Grasiani coming back to MLS. He proved he can score in this league. He was let go for money reason, but we can still use him after the Ecuadorian league is over.
the problem with Graziani is that no one seems to like him, least of all his coaches. after a while, people just didn't want to see that hair anymore waving in their face. i liked the guy, myself, though when his prima donna side came out during a game as it often did, i would be sort of glad when he soon found himself getting kicked.
