Re: Argentinos in Italy Good move for him and his wife. It will give Javier peace of mind and Internazionale have always loved their Argentine players. With the squad size Masche will play fewer games and be fresher for the seleccion and more quality games ie at the CL level also best for the seleccion. Internazionale I am sure will at some point or AC put in for Pastore. They have both been tracking him.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Emiliano Insua deal agreed with Fiorentina: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rentina-agree-pay-5m-Argentine-left-back.html Most Liverpool fans are very disappointed by the transfer citing his potential. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=260427.msg7144807#msg7144807 Using these statistics Insua has not performed badly at all especially for his age.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Santiago Garcia has been signed by Palermo from Rosario Central. I hope he does well because the NT can always use a decent left back. He'll be teaming up with Pastore and Bertolo (ex Boca) http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/palermo-acquires-santiago-garcia/news/anzeigen_42702.html#
Re: Argentinos in Italy Nope, I don't watch teams who play in la B Seriously though, I've never seen him play and the only Garcia I know who goes by that name is the striker from Uruguay
Re: Argentinos in Italy I thought of Gonzalo Garcia in the first place, but it was Santiago....He only plays 10+ league games and then fly to Europe, what the hell is happening in this crazy world???
Re: Argentinos in Italy played 13 games, seems to be the only good thing on rosarios central relegated squad.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Santiago Garcia is 21 years old that played for Rosario Central. He was born 8th July 1988 in Rosario in the province of Santa Fe. He was nurtured in the club's youth system and made in his first appearance in the 2008 Apertura. In the following years he remained in the reserves until 2010 when he had the oppurtunity to showcase his talents. The coach Gustavo Alfaro (now coach of Arsenal de Sarandi placed his faith in him) and he appeared for the club 13 times and became first choice in his position of left back. Walter Sabatini (Palermo director of football) remarked on his defensive abilities and his physical presence with Garcia being 191 centimetres tall and his pace. If he improves his tactical awareness Walter said he could become a top class defender. (Mediagol.it) Hope that helps.
Re: Argentinos in Italy I believe it may have been one of those cases... You see, Rosario Central, like the double-affiliation teams and some indirectly affilied teams that have more than 1 team on each age group for the youth teams. Like, River at the U18 may have 20 players(i'm just throwing a number), but clubs like Colón, Newell's or Godoy Cruz have 40, but Rosario Central is an unique case where there're 60, which makes me believe that it ends up being counter-productive because it's possible that good guys don't get noticed with some many players on each age group. That and since they got relegated they have to sell some players who may not be needed. On the other hand, i feel that Insúa may be better suited for a team like Fiorentina.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Emiliano Insua sold for £3.8M to Fiorentina. Emiliano is agreeing personal terms.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Alejandro Gomez joins Catania http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_6273413,00.html
Re: Argentinos in Italy This means 12 out of their first thirty players are now Argentinian. Seems the president sees this as a way of buying quality at relatively low prices. Hopefully Maxi Lopez kicks on this season again.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Ezquiel Munoz joins Palermo for £4.6M GBP. I think Fiorentina retain him and this is the fee Palermo are paying for a season long loan. He should link up with Santiago Garcia in the back four .
Re: Argentinos in Italy To continue with Central's exodus, Guillermo Burdisso is the new player of AS Roma, where his brother, Nicolas, played last season.
Re: Argentinos in Italy They have been tracking him for a season now. I think it is great to see all these centreback prospects arriving like this. The season ahead for Munoz, Guillermo and Forlin are very important and Musacchio. They have to impress get game time and keep improving their game.
Re: Argentinos in Italy I guess it also helped the situation that Central got relegated because Guille wasn't going anywhere else in Argentina, he was going to stay in Central even if meant playing in the second division when he had better possibilities at other clubs. In phone interview he said that it'd be nice if his brother, Nicolas, played another season at Roma so they could play together at the same team, because that since he was 7, and Nicolas was 14, they've seen each other once per year only.
Re: Argentinos in Italy For centerbacks, there's also Paletta, Pareja, Rodriguez, Garay and Fazio based in Europe, and Galeano, Otamendi, Roncaglia, Insaurralde and Carruzo in Argentina. Excellent depth at centerback, it'll be a big improvement over what we saw this last WC.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Paletta???? Es un muerto jaja, you cant be serious with him? The rest is ok, but nothing groundbreaking either unfortunately.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Garay can develop into something under Mourinho. I also think Burdisso and Fazio have great potential.
Re: Argentinos in Italy Napoli dont want German Denis anymore and will most likely send him to Udinese http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/i...poli-dijo-que-german-denis-no-entra-en-planes
