and Lautaro and Alvarez should never starts together.

Its no coincidence that we won WC without them starting together, neither in recent Copa.

I don't care how many goals Lo celso scores this season, he's shown time and time again he's not a big team player. We should keep him around as a sub but nothing more.

Yet he's Argentina top assister in 2022 qualifier, despite not always starting. Assisted winning goal in Copa final and Maracana aswell. He also played 90 minutes when we won Finalissima.

You don't care how many goals a midfielder scores?!! Bro has the worst takes of all times.

Paz with a nice assist. Great vision on the kid.

He had a shot that had huge deflection that went. Initially they gave him the goal but rightful it was later changed to an OG. Looks like he has settled well in the Serie A. There are rumors that Milan want to purchase him from Madrid.

I've said it before, he should be called up on merit. Scaloni should bring him around the team again. I am sure it will give him a boost in morale.

I cant believe its been 6 years since Scaloni debuted as the NT manager. When you keeps winning , time seems flying so fast.

I remember qualifier 2010 and 2018, it just feels like forever. We literally had to win the latest game to qualify:laugh:

As long they're playing in competitive league, I dont mind our players playing in smaller or mid table clubs. Regular playing time is more important afterall.

Have just watched his match comps from his first few Como games and I am really impressed. Technically we know he is good, but seems he is becoming quite the complete player; great work-rate, doesn't shy away defensively (even some slide tackles!) and wins physical battles as well. Looks a bit slow acceleration wise but decent enough pace when he has room to run. Should be a no-brainer in the next squad, but I guess we'll see Pezzella and Guido take up a spot still instead.

EL for Roma and Soulé is once again on the bench. Perhaps he starts over the weekend when they play Venezia.

Lo Celso with another goal for Betis. That's 4 in 4.

Thiago Almada is beginning to play some really impressive football for Botafogo. The start of this season he was playing bad, but looks like he has turned it around - even thought the got knocked out of Libertadores, he was the player of the match.

I hate that he had to go play one year in Brazil before he gets to transfer to Europe. I still don't understand why he had to go from Atlanta FC to Brazil, before Europe?? I think his rights are owned by a third-party? This is the kind of sh#t that ruins young players.

At least the Brazilian league is a legitimate league that is competative

He didn’t get knocked out: Botafogo advanced on penalties. He’s two games away from playing the Libertadores final

I think Botafogo is owned by the same group as Crystal Palace and Lyon. Basically like how Manchester City's group also owns Girona, NYCFC, etc.

Dibu is suspended for the whole Oct. window

Glad that Armani has retired internally.

Lol what he did was stupid but two games is overkill. Well, saves him a trip I guess if it was only one game.

Soooo sick of the modern FIFA/CONMEBOL. Always suspensions for this, for that…

I know it’s outside of their rulings, but the other day a fan got a €60k fine for insulting Vinicius on Twitter, while another River fan got banned from entering stadiums for a year because he had a jersey mocking Boca.

There’s all these suspensions, fines, penalties, etc for anything nowadays. It’s just getting out of hand and they’re drying the sport of its essence.

Everyday I miss 90s futbol more and more.

    —————

Now with my rant out the way, who would you guys play? Musso? Benitez? I’m just hoping it’s not Rulli, because at that point it’s not any better than Armani tbh

Maybe an outsider like Rossi or Rey will get called up as 3rd GK now. There’s Jeremias Ledesma too, but he hasn’t gotten any minutes this season.

Good time to test second choice keeper though.

Julian scored winning goal at 90th minute.

Atletico madrid has the best defence in la liga statistically, conceided just 3 but scored less than 5th place Villalreal. Typical Simeone.

Although the sanction is absolutely ridiculous, I like that it forces Scaloni to try the 2nd choice keeper and test them in an official match. If there were games that Dibu needed to be suspended, it would be these games.

Everytime we criticizes our two main forwards, they ended up scoring.
