This is such a shitty response from Pep. If he has so many players he has to juggle playing time with Julián over, Julián is right to leave.

I want to see Julian playing meaningful minutes for a team that matters. He is definitely good enough, but his good nature is being taken advantage of at ManCity. I can sympathize with their desire to win and have as many good players as possible, but that is coming at the expense of some players who at the prime of their career are not getting playing time.

    Time for Julian to go.

So, Juve sell Soulé and now they may purchase Nico from Viola?

    :ROFLMAO:

I mean, he worked his ass off in the final v Colombia and if he was highway decent in front of goal, he could've score a brace. Kinda of an odd purchase if this is in fact true.

I just realized Otamendi has more goals for Argentina than Nico.

The PEDs drugs must have got to him at last. He is Argentina's striker and he deserves respect and he should leave if he cannot be accomodated. The bald fraud has a habit of destroying players individuality and skills. It's an incredibly mechanical system and only works because of the overwhelming financial might of UAE City. They did get a nice £2M fine the other day for starting their matches late on a regular basis. More fines to comes I hope, points deductions and what would be best expulsion from the PL and CL. Cheats.

Looks like PSG may be making an offer for Julian in the coming days..

Fiorentina, meanwhile, are being linked to Veliz

Looks like he may be leaving. He wants to play regular minutes. It is apparent he has plenty of talent and ability. He just needs to be given an opportunity.

Alvarez has an advanced negotiation with Atletico. Not sure how Atletico will pay Man City though

German Pezzella will be going back to River.

I'm hearing Montiel could be returning as well. Hopefully this is the last of Pezzella. Montiel can still be a valuable servant off the bench as a RB(And even though he is merely 27 and should be in his prime). I am surprised he doesn't find another club in Spain or Italy. Maybe he's homesick?

Nehuen Perez is probably on his way to Porto.

Buonanotte might also be on his way to Feyenoord on a loan deal.

Bologna apparently made an offer for him. His pricetag is only €5-8m, so I’m sure there could be other options. At worst there would always be the Fenerbaches and Galatasarays of the world.

If he comes backs home it strictly because of the desire to be coached by Gallardo again, although his agent seems to be trying to convince him to stay in Europe

Guido Rodriguez linked to West Ham. No real bother his time is up with the seleccion. Varela and Equi and Perrone are the future for that role.

Now that the Olympics are over for Argentina, Scaloni needs to prep for the future. Equi Fernandez is more than good enough to play for the national team now. Hopefully Otamendi convinced him not to go to Saudi Arabia. Sept. WCQ is coming out soon and I expect the list to come out within the next 2 weeks. Hopefully a squad similar to this will be released (not sure the amount of players Scaloni is allowed to call up, but hopefully he calls up a lot of defenders as that will be the one that needs a rejuvenation).

    GK: E. Martinez, Gazzaniga, Rulli

    RB: Molina, Montiel, Quarta/Perez, Maffeo
CB: Romero, L. Martinez, Senesi, Balerdi, Medina
    LB: Barco, Tagli, Ortega

    RM: De Paul, Palacios, Equi
    DM: Enzo, Paredes, Varela
    CM: MacAllister, Lo Celso

    RW: Soule, Carboni
    CAM: Messi, Dybala
    FW: Alvarez, Martinez, Castellanos
    LW: Garnacho, Nico Gonzales

With De Zerbi at OM, this should be a good move for the youngster.

PSG might be the only place worse for Julián than Man City tbh, what a graveyard for young talent. And frankly, I don't trust the PSG fans that booed Messi to respect Julián given the attitude towards Argentine players in France atm.

Simeone might not be the best at cultivating talent, but he is good at recognizing it. I don't think Julián needs to "learn" anything before getting the minutes he deserves and Atlético would get the best out of him; it's not his fault that Man City hoards players.

So, Equi is off to the KSA. Boca will get 20 million or so for him. The problem is that now this will set a precedent. Not a good look. Other teams will now sell their youngsters to these Arab clubs.

One can hope this will be a very short pit stop.

So so disappointing. Wonder if Scaloni will even call him up now.

He prioritized money more than his career. This is thinking short term. He’s probably going to find it miserable living in the KSA. Family and agents and the club made this push. He has to live with it.

    But a couple of things.

Two of our more promising midfielders, Redondo and now Equi have taken steps backwards. We said with Fede; it will be good to be around Messi and Sergi and then he could move. But he’s been injured quite frequently. I hope he isn’t inherited that trait from his father.

Two, I just hope Scaloni goes and talks to Equi by the end of the year. He was already on the cusp of making the team. Rumors were circulating circulating. So, Scaloni needs to tell him that he should probably request a transfer by June of 2025 if he wants to be a part of the senior side. At the end of the day; that should be his desire, no? We will need somebody like him for 2026. I really doubt Scaloni will call him up now.

The BigSoccer “Beautiful Game” forum is a complete dark hole. I visited there a few times, and it really is mind-numbing.

He shouldn't. If players are going to make decisions based on their bank balance, they should accept the athletic consequences for doing so. He'll be a worse player because of this, and this belies a mentality that I don't think we should look for in NT players: greedy short-term thinking.

I wouldnt bother about it. We live in a reality where Messi is 8 times Ballon winner , Maradona is best player of 20th century & Argentina just won 4 consecutive trophies. It must be a hard life for haters.

Now if Lautaro somehow wins Ballon, their misery would be more than complete.
