That was established one hour ago already. You got angry, insulted forum posters here calling them racist because they were talking about an entirely different topic not dealing with the enzo chant. Also we already touched that, and quite a few of us have said already we don't like it or agree with it.

Also, like I said you keep coming back because you were shown how much a fool you are, so your mental pysche is now posting back and forth on two forums because your actual moral relativism has been shot. So now you need to make sure your ego is in check, so when you log off, you feel good about yourself and all is right in your world.

Literally countless people on the net are making fun of France being an African all star team.Just scroll down on YT comment section and you can easily find it. Even many of us here did that.

So what's the difference with Enzo remarks? well, we're nothing but a random internet posters while Enzo is world champions and famous footballer. That's it.

While we're at it, let me rub salt in the wound... Belgium has zero international trophy. Maybe he needs to channel his frustration on Argentina.

The amount of lies, faux outrage has been amazing. Just seems an opportunity for some to have a go at Argentina as a nation throwing everyone in the same boat ie a nation of Nazi's, try and knock Messi or just indulge in their own slurs. A Mexican on redcafe for instance saying we call Argentines all sorts of insults inc. racial ones and it's not great BUT then goes on to call all Argentines backward while making sweeping generalizations.

For what it is worth anyone reading might like to know Argentina has been a welcome home to many fleeing persecution as well as those fleeing for entirely different reasons in 1945. For example the Jewish and Armenian communities are some of the former.

    Good.

I just hope that means that Dybala also stays in Rome. I think having him under his and Paredes' tutelage will be a good move for the youngster.

I thought the indications from Dybala were that he is leaving Rome. Soule is probably his (more mobile) replacement.

Apparently he's going to renew with Roma.

I wonder if De Rossi is thinking of playing Dybala as a 9/false 9 kind of role with the lack of strikers that they have. Otherwise, the Soule signing wouldn't make sense to me. If they sign Chiesa, maybe they'll play something like this.

    Chiesa---------Dybala---------Soule.

Would be great if Dybala is used to play in the 9/false 9 position if god forbids one of Alvarez or Lautaro gets injured.

We definetely need to think about injury possibility. If Lautaro 100% fit in WC 2022, I think he'd have scored some of those sitters . Thank God him & Julian were fit this whole tourmament. The same with Angelito.

There were times when we have to dealt with key players injury.

CA 2004 Saviola scored 3 goals then injured for rest of tournament, in 2007 Crespo scored 3 goals and then injured for rest of tournament aswell. The biggest blow was Di Maria in 2014-2016 .

    Crespo-Saviola/Messi > Tevez-Messi combo.

I think it's a great move as he won't be boxed in style wise and will be allowed to be more expressive which will suit his development better. He's a direct replacement for Angelito and I think in time he can be just as impressive. For a tall player playing as he does often as a winger/ side midfielder he has great balance. Sometimes he reminds me of Chris Waddle who was an idol at Olympique Marseille. Also a tall gangly winger but with excellent skills but minus Soule's playmaking ability.

In an ideal world yes but the baton has to be passed over at some point. And his heir apparent is Soule.

Exactly why would I care about that? So a racist team winning a trophy somehow makes them less racist? That's a new one to me.

Guys, lets step back a little bit. I don't want to crucify Enzo because all of us are Enzo. We all have been to the stadium, and we would like to leave in the stadium what happens in the stadium. But we have to think seriously about this. Yes, Argentina is a country of immigrants, we celebrate the immigrant experience, we actually celebrate the day of the immigrant to honor immigrants, and most of us can trace our ancestry to immigrants, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents, most of whom came to Argentina to avoid persecution abroad.

Having said that, we should acknowledge that to sing that the French are Africans (or for example that the bosteros are Bolivianos), transforming inmmigrant status into an insult, is not coherent with who we are and who we should be. It's wrong, period.

There are ways we can "chicanear" Francia (or Boquita, if you want) without going there, into something that all over the world is considered a serious insult, especially at a time when immigrants are being politically and even physically attacked and exploited worldwide by extremists in racist ways.

Do we really want to be seen to be on that side of the issue? Because that is how the world will see us if we keep singing and defending those kinds of songs. We are a nation that has been a haven to immigrants, that has received Jews, Romani, Armenians, Irish, and many other victims of European fascism and worldwide persecution. But, we also welcomed Nazis, and that's what others unfortunately (fairly or not ) remember.

I think we need to cut it out with behavior that in the eyes of the world seems to put us on the side of the hate mongers who hate immigrants. If we are going to show the world that this is not who we are, lets stop taking such things lightly, lets stop singing those songs.

Lets think about this. Thank you.

Lo Celso is close to a move to Aston Villa. I think that would be a good place for him to play and contribute.

The deal for Soulé is inching closer. If Paulo sticks around with Roma, I will be very excited to watch that side play.

One thing I have learned from reading from true Catalonia, Barcelona FC fans is that they actually like to claim making messi the player he is. Because they offered him treatment, schooling and la masia system.

Lalas was claiming right before the Ecuador game on July 4th about Messi: “At this point, this guy is basically American. On the 4th of July, we are claiming him!”

    Lol….

But one thing I just learnt is that Messi’s mother was Lebanese? That I didn’t know before.

That's not remotely true. His mother's last name is Cuccittini.

They helped him with his medical treatment, but only because they knew he was special. All you need to do is look as his videos as a kid to know that he was who he is before he left Rosario. Messi did much more for Barca than Barca did for him.

River wanted to take Messi didn't they but couldn't afford or decided not to pay the medical bills. And the rest is history. But Lionel was formed in Rosario on the streets kicking a ball around for hours like many other great footballers and being given the freedom by his first coaches to do what he wanted namely dribble teams for fun whereas in a regimented European youth set up he'd be asked to track back, pass, stop, pass.

We would NEVER hear the end of it if River were able to take on Messi.

    Good grief.

But we all know, secretly that Messi is a gallina. He did not celebrate against them in CWC Final. Remember?!?! :D
