Shouldn't have played them at all if that's the case. The final next week is more important than this

There will be another WC qualifier in about 3 weeks, hopefully he can manage himself. He's been playing full minutes in more than 10 consecutive games since arriving at Miami and he's 36.

Regarding Messi's injury, how long are we going to have to wait to hear the truth that he has a pulled hamstring? We've all pulled a hamstring and we all know how it affects you and have a good idea how long it will take to be fully fit.

As long as Messi gets sufficient rest, he will be ready for the WC qualifiers in October. However, if Inter Miami keeps doing this "as soon as he is 50% available we are going to play him" he will be f#cked the rest of the season.

Regarding Messi and playing in the WC; he will 100% will play.

    Doesn’t sound good

“It was not immediately clear whether Messi was injured or simply fatigued. Even Martino seemed a bit uncertain. Martino, speaking at his postmatch news conference, called it "a scar from an old injury that’s bothering him.”

Messi initially felt the discomfort two weeks ago toward the end of Argentina's World Cup qualifier against Ecuador. He then sat out a second qualifier five days later in Bolivia.”

Messi won't play this weekend against Swamp City SC, but may play in The Cup Final against Houston https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/mls/inter-miami/article279521089.html

Messi just needs to shut it down with Miami. No ways around it. If they make the playoffs, great, he could possibly play. But other than that? Nope. Again, I pointed out during the match v Ecuador, he was holding his hamstring. He played through it but did not give enough time to heal properly.

Even with the qualifiers in October, he should sit it out. We have a home match v Paraguay and away at Peru. We could do without him and at worst, collect four points from those two matches. November is where we will be tested.. Home v Uruguay and away in Brasil, I want wins in both of those matches.

Still think he should play at least a bit of Open Cup final but other than that shut it down.

yeah based on yesterday's results in the MLS. I think Inter Miami is in a very good position imo to qualify to the playoffs without Messi.

I understand the scans, but like SupaMario said, he was holding his hamstring against Ecuador. He then asked to be subbed out and didn’t even try to recover for Bolivia.

Inter Miami really needs to be careful. Hamstring pulls need 6 weeks to recover from.

Chelsea has always been a dumpster fire. Even back then when they won the CL in 2012 , I think they're not even in top 5 of EPL table. Few years ago they won their second CL, they finished 4th in the league. On the top of that, they play sh!t football even when they win and started the oil club trend.

Pochettino going out for sure. They are playing toothless football. they need to some one in front to finish the chances.

Macallister is playing good with liverpool. He is basically playing the role of Enzo for us.

Biggest difference between Argentina 2014 WC Final, 2015 & 2016 Copa America Finals: Emi Martinez and Scaloni.

IMO, Messi should buy Martinez and Scaloni a nice home in Ft. Lauderdale where Messi bought his mansion. He owes both of them

Poch is only good for disciplining teenagers and having them run more.

We knew Enzo was throwing his career away at Chelsea. Benfica was actually playing superb attacking football that fit into his style. But he helped us win the WC that's all that matters

Yeah, Chelsea is so volatile. Players should look not for clubs that offer the most $$, but which club has the best infrastructure and manager. While Enzo's worth is tanking, we are seeing increase for Mac Allister's.

I still believe in Enzo and hope that Scaloni never even considers replacing him in the NT, but if the situation doesn't change at Chelsea he might need a miracle to stay relevant

You know who is having a stellar season? Palacios at Bayer Leverkusen. For many, he was going to be one of the cataylyst's who was going to changed the dynamics of the midfield. But a slow start in German and injuries slowed him down. But for the last year or so he is killing it in Germany, so much so that Liverpool wanted to bring him in this season but they just missed out. I think he should stay put and not make a move in the winter transfer window. Adjusting to a new league in mid-season is never ideal. He is seen as a RDP replacement but lets how Scaloni uses him in the near future.

As for Enzo, I am not worried about him just yet. We all know his talent is at another level. I think he will be fine. It was going to be impossible for him to stay at Benfica and he was eventually going to move. He made the push and now times are a bit rocky at Chelsea but once the ball gets going, he will be the Enzo we all know.

Mac Allister had a poor game last week but I think he just needs time to find his feet. He apparently was very good last night. Perhaps consistency will be the key here and once he figures out Klopp's system, he will be the Mac Attack we saw at Brighton and at Qatar.

Palacios barely missed getting transferred to Liverpool and Real Madrid. And you're right @SupaMario , Palacios has been killing it for the last 2 seasons.

I don't think he "misses" getting transferred out of Leverkusen to a top team in one of the top leagues. I just hope that its not PSG, Chelsea or ManU. Maybe he should stay at Leverkusen where he is doing great now.
