Maybe Mascherano should also ask Messi and Di Maria to play in the Pre-Olympic too to help qualify Dybala is a good call but think he will be in the Copa 24 squad (depending on the squad limit) and can't see Roma letting him go for 2 tournaments. Maybe the likes of Balerdi, Buendia, Castellanos would be good candidates.
That's true about Roma. Dybala himself has stated he'd like to win a CA to complete his international trophy case. Speaking of Paulo, he is starting for Roma today. I'd like to see a couple of the players from the senior side compete in both, maybe Otamendi who could bow out after Paris 24 but considering the Olympics kickoff 10 days after the CA Final, that would be a difficult task. Garna is another that will probably only play in one or the other. He'd obviously get more minutes at the Olympics but ETH being that clown that he is probably would not want to release him. Then again, he could be sacked soon. Nevertheless, hopefully he we get a strong squad for the Olympic qualifiers. Paz was given permission to to the qualifiers a year ago, maybe they will let the kid go but again he is now being called-up to the senior side regularly but is not getting minutes. Who knows... If we qualify, maybe Icardi should go to the Olympics . Dybala scores a good penalty.
What a goal by Dybala! World class. And he comes inches away from scoring a hat-trick from a beautiful FK as he hits the post.
Soulé appears to be doing well on loan. Kinda reminds me of a young Coco. #Soulè 🆚 Sassuolo! 🇦🇷 💎https://t.co/VnHIp38jtv— JuventusJuvenil (@JuvenilJuventus) September 17, 2023 Barrenechea who is his teammate is apparently doing well at Frosinone.
The false winger role (the role Messi occupies right now) suits Soule perfectly. I have high hopes for the lad and I hope both he and Barrenechea does well. Also, Romero should have went to a club that is less prestigious but can give him minutes. Hate seeing him rot in the bench. I don't see the pecking order changing anytime soon, so hopefully he puts in a transfer request in January.
I don't really understand that move either. He was a free agent and could've gone to someplace like Udinese and probably became a starter. Bad move after bad move for this kid. Hopefully I does happen. 📰 CM: Stefano #Pioli values Luka #Romero highly, but he might struggle to find playing time. A loan move could be the right solution for him. pic.twitter.com/SzBp1yhfsw— Milan Posts (@MilanPosts) September 9, 2023
Sad from a footballing perspective (not a financial one of course, the guy is on an absolute fortune and on an 8 year contract!) seeing Enzo playing for the cluster f&&k that are Chelsea FC right now. I read that since he signed for them he has only been on the winning side 3 times in the league. Shocking.
Could be worse . . . he could be stuck in Manchester playing for that once relevant football club known as "United"
Martinez's form is suffering playing for that clown of a club, against Brighton he looked a total mug.
Alvares goal from halland. 1-1 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxYloDaIO4a/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading
Julian first goal was great. Quick feet dribble and fast acceleration like prime Messi. Both him and Lautaro just needs to find the net once in our upcoming game and I'm sure they'll return to their actual form. While we've seen our team winning without Messi, I still wanna see us winning without ADM contribution aswell. In previous qualifier, we beat Chile and Uruguay (both away) with DI Maria scoring . Recently he provided two assists. Since there will be no more ADM after next year Copa, Scaloni needs to integrate the younger players quicker. Garnacho should start in our next home game. In terms of natural talent, he's definetely ahead of Nico.
Chelsea, MU and Milan are all a has-been. They're just a big names right now but actually a mid table quality. Chelsea is in fact a bottom half quality. It sucks that some of our young players stuck at these clubs. Even Emi should moved to a better club at this point.
This is also the signs of a competitive league. Look at La Liga, same old crap. Barca and Madrid fans thumping their chests out, because they can win against weak teams.
Well, that's the nature of most league though. Juventus won serie A almost 10 years in a row at one point. PSG won 9 titles since 2013. Bundesliga has been a one team race for years. MU and Chelsea are in bad form and having competitive league isnt an excuse in this case. Its one thing to play well but not always getting good result, but they've been bad from the start , no wonder they're not getting good result. They cant use "competitive league" as scapegoat.
Alvarez has been so good at attacking midfielder role. He is able to create, to score and can make thing happen.
Alvarez with a MOTM performance last night and alongside Rodri I'd say he's been City's best player this season so far. https://x.com/Matolisso/status/1704250209952215517?s=20
No it's an injury. Alba had ice on his thigh after being subbed. Messi was massaging his thigh before the game, and stopped running to be subbed off. Then went into the locker room. This fatique bullshit is over with Tata. Just come clean ffs.
Shouldn't have played them at all if that's the case. The final next week is more important than this
