Can't draw many conclusions due to the quality of the opponent other than this team is really feeling it and knows their game.

The only conclusion we can draw is that if the South American qualifiers had teams like Estonia, Messi would be way ahead of Ronaldo in total goals scored for the NT.

    - Not a big fan of Tucu. I would much rather have Angel Correa.
    - Please don't play Alvarez as a RW and play him as a ST
    - MacAllister played better as a 5 than as a 8
    - I liked how Dybala and Messi interchanged position with that RW and CAM area.

I really really hope there's no suspension or injuries to the likes of Lautaro, De Paul, Romero and Dibu. I would not like to imagine playing in a possible QF match with Tucu, Pezzella and Armani.

Only watch highlights, just bring Garnacho instead of Tucu  .

If the WC happens now we would have lift the trophy next month. The way Messi struck his penalty , 100% confidence.

Estonia, the type of team that European big teams play in qualifier & Euro , definetely competitive as Mbappe said LMAO

Messi would have had 300 goals by now if he plays in European qualifier.

Argentina scored 8 in 2 games (could have been 15) , thanks to Mbappe for the motivation.

Funny thing is that you could see in the crowd lots of Estonian celebrating Messi's goals:laugh:

Surely MacAllister cannot play as a DM against stronger opposition? I did not see the game. Just saw the comments here that he was good today.

I really hope Scaloni will take Dybala and not J Correa.

Shame Julian could not bag a goal but his movement off the ball, recycling it and overall play is so mature.

I'm disappointed by the selections. We know from analysis that Angel Correa is superior to Tucu and his working from the front is on a different level.

MacAllister is not a DM. Why Enzo Fernandez is not in the squad hurts. Still the bizarre choices for number 2 and 3 keeper. A bit worrying when Pezzella was injured Foyth was being summoned. He's not a CB. Why not Senesi ?

I think it's a wasted opportunity for the second string to get some game time and show what they can do. At some point during the Mundial we will need some of them and having the right replacements will be critical.

The spine of the side if formidable. Emi-Romero-de Paul-Messi-Martinez.

As for the goals. No issues when Kane bangs in a hat trick against San Marino or Ronaldo plays the part timers of Luxembourg. You can only play what's in front of you and five goals in a game is always something special.

But then of course La Pulga is special. How anybody who know anything about football still try and equate Ronaldo to Messi beats me.

Angel Correa has created more, scored more per 90 this season and his work rate compared to Tucu is superior. How Angel is being overlooked is mind boggling.

Honestly, this is the best Argentina pre World Cup side i've seen.

    The whole team is one.

A goal in 2-1 win in last season final game that won them La liga.
