PSG won 2-0 by starting with Icardi, Neymar and Mbappe, with Icardi scoring both goals. Amazing that in CL final, Tuchel subbed in Eric Maxim instead of Icardi and the guy scored less than 10 goals in past 2 seasons.

    Indeed.
Congrats @Burr @Albiceleste2010 and @cigar_city in hoisting the Cup. I’ve seen my beloved Blackhawks hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup 3x and now this is the Bolts 2nd.

I'll always remember the glowing compliments the Blackhawks had for our team even after beating us, it went beyond the typical sportsmanship. I'm glad we were able finally back up those words from them.

Chicago has some young talent I’m excited about.
Perhaps our core still has another run in them if they get rid of Crawford and the defense stinks.

TB is a special side, no qualms about them winning it. I suspect Stamkos might retire though. Something isn’t right with him, and he’s hinted at that. Would be a shame at 30 but going out on top would be great. But who knows, the guy scored on his first shot returning back from injury, that tells you how good he really is. I hope he sticks around.

The ideal: Lisandro Martínez, Foyth, Cristian Romero, Nehuen Pérez, Balerdi, Senesi, Montiel, Ascacibar, Vera, Almada, Barco, Mac Allister, Urzi, Valenzuela, Gaich, Nico Gonzalez, Lautaro Martínez are all eligible.

In reality, a majority of these won't be released by their clubs. And you can already write off those that will play Copa America.

Saravia and Kannemann are out of the selection due to injury. No word on who or if there will be replacements.

Looks like Saravia tore a knee ligament and will be out for a while. Wishing him a good recovery.

Will there even be the need for replacements? Over 30 players have already been called up.

Lautaro scored another goal from outside the box ... did that in 2 consecutive games.

It was a fantastic goal taken. One grip from last year was his consistency issue. Hopefully he can take that step forward and produce week in/out.

If Dembele gets sold don't be surprised if he does end up at Barca.

Very unlikely, Lautaro is expensive and Barcelona's financial situation is terrible. They are targeting Depay more than Lautaro because of that.

The other Martinez (there’s about 10 of them) river plates version is close to a move to Fiorentina. Which would be interesting since they have Pezzella.

Anybody else having a hard time readjusting to football again? Still seems a bit off. That long layoff and then they returned to finish the season and now a quick turnaround. This is strictly for Europe of course. Things back home, well, at least there are continental matches, speaking of which, keep your eyes out for Julián Álvarez, there could be something special brewing there.

Yeah it's pretty weird that they're starting again so soon. Feels like the players are a bit off, at least in the Premier League, where penalties are being handed out like candy so far.

Another 90 minutes for the likes of Gaich and Palacios... on the bench.

Perhaps they should seek for a loan deal, ASAP.

I dream of having a line up with

Lisandro Martinez, Pity Martinez,Lucas Martinez, Lautaro Martinez and Emi Martinez.
Palacios should high tail it out of Bayer. Clearly the coach doesn't rate him for some reason.

Sidenote Amione's move is official. Cant wait to see him play again.Foyth also moved on loan with option to buy to Villareal.

Otamendi with the disaster debut. Pezzella skipped from the list.

At this point the CB pairing should be Quarta-Medina, they are only ones in the list actually playing and not playing like ass!

Lo Celso seems to have some injury, didn't play today.

Think Scaloni should start Acuña or (if he feels more daring) Papu vs Ecuador. Of course, I take for granted that Paredes, De Paul, Messi, Ocampos and Lautaro will start.

    Final list for the WCQ:

Marchesin, Saravia, Nico Gonzalez, and Joaquin Correa all forced out by injuries, while Kannemann tested positive for COVID-19 during the week. Pavon was dropped by request of his club (LA Galaxy)

The other two players dropped were Pezzella and Balerdi.
