I think it's better to start Lautaro and Dybala against a WC team and then to possibly rest them vs Ecuador. Both Lautaro and Dybala are most likely to be included in the CA 2020 team.
Germany tend to suck at friendlies. They usually really use it for experiment, but we've beat them comfortably in last 3 friendlies so I doubt they're going to take it easy this time. I agree Lautaro & Dybala should start or at least for one half. The fixture is in middle of busy schedule so I highly doubt Scolani will use all the key players for full minutes.
This is what it is probably going to look like v Germany. https://tntsports.com/seleccion/Sel...ba-los-11-que-paro-Scaloni-20191008-0015.html Agustín Marchesín; Foyth, Otamendi, Rojo, Nicolás Tagliafico; Roberto Pereyra, Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, Ángel Correa; Dybala y Lautaro In fact this is what it’s going to look like. 1181624070653304837 is not a valid tweet id Rojo and Otamendi partnership... I think it could be time for Scaloni to start youngsters at CB, start experimenting. Better than using deadweight.
Not sure which would be worst, getting beat up in this friendly with those 2 deadweights at the back or we somehow beat them convincingly then those 2 ended up being in Scolani long term plan.... I'd pick the first scenario.
Yeah, Otamendi is the prime reason Man City are almost out of the title race already IMO. Amazing that the worst defender in his domestic league plays for Man City and Argentina. Dude must have the best agent ever!
Well, Germany scores on some comical defending. Paredes is having a horror show. Correa has better utter crap and so has Pereyra. Rojo just cost the side another... 2-0 Germany... I hope this ends this nonsense of Rojo and Otamendi. We are playing far too slow, we are allowing Germany to set their defense as we pass the ball sideways. And they're countering us to death.
I hope this is the end for him. What an absolute joke. And I don't understand why they're continuing to go through Pereyra...
Not sure Pereyra is NT material anymore. Besides, it seems like he has gotten plenty of chances without capitalizing on any of them.
Probably, I'm just trying to take some positives. Marchesín has been very good, if not for him, we'd been down 4 or 5. Foyth has done well as well. Everybody else...? Pretty terrible.
