He has 31 goals for the national team so "never was" is a bit harsh, lol. Aguero had a couple more goals for City yesterday. What else is new.

Just doing some basic arithmetic, if he finished some of his chances he’d be in the neighborhood of 150 goals for country. Now, these are just cold hard facts. This has be out there for a few days now. It would be pretty funny though. You think Gaucho hates him now... imagine if he does end up at Boca. But he’s claimed to be a died hard Newell’s supporter. But he’s been linked to every club, which includes even FCB, who are apparently are trying to land him as we speak. Atletico are interested as well and so are Valencia. He apparently turned down a 14ME salary with Monaco, where he is currently making 4.5 from Inter. So, apparently this is deeper than money, he wants to leave for Juve so he can bury the club when they play and Inter are basically saying now. It is rumored he’ll only play 10% of Intet’s matches, which I’m assuming will only be away matches in Coppa Italia games and whatnot so Inter can’t be sued. The market closes tomorrow, so we’ll see what happens.
It looks like Aguero isnt slowing down, after 4 matches, he's scoring at even higher ratio that he usually does. Icardi to Atletico Madrid actually would be a good move.
Rigoni left Zenit to join Sampdoria, where he’ll be teammates with Maroni. Now if only Mammana and Driussi could follow in his footsteps and GTFO of Russia ASAP
I really want Lanzini and Lo Celso to play together. There’s so much potential for creativity there from midfield. Lanzini has created the joint-second most chances this season so far after De Bruyne in the Premier League.
Ignore my last post... looks like Scaloni will be fielding his best tomorrow Marchesín; Montiel-Martínez Quarta-Otamendi-Tagliafico; De Paul-Paredes-Lo Celso; Dybala-Joaquín Correa-Lautaro
I wonder if Scaloni will play like a 4-3-1-2 like he did for the Copa 19. I feel that this is the best formation for this current group. ----------------GK Montiel--Quarta--Ota---Tagli -------------Paredes ----De Paul---------Lo Celso --------------Dybala ---Lautaro-----------J Correa @Loco, do you think Montiel has the potential being the starting RB for Copa 20 and hopefully beyond? Saravia has been out of form lately, I just don't see Foyth as a RB forever (I see him more as a CB/CDM) and L Godoy is on the bench lately.
If Lanzini stays healthy, he is the one of the top three playmakers in the world alongside De Bruyne and Isco. We really missed him in Russia, things could have been very different.
Montiel without a doubt has the potential to start as RB in CA 2020. He has been playing at a very high level for the past year and is the definition of a workhorse. Perhaps he needs to work on his last touch offensively (crossing and finishing when he gets the opportunity), but he is a tireless soldier that runs endlessly up and down the flank. Pretty solid defensively and provides plenty of support going forward. Tbh, about 2 years ago he was one of the questioned points by River fans in Gallardo's machine team. Not that he was bad, per se, but he showed flaws. However, he has progressed enormously since then and is now a fundamental part of our team. The guy has a third lung, as well as plenty of heart and determination. If you see him play live in person then you notice even more just how much he works his ass off. He is only 22, but you'd think he has been playing at a professional level for a decade given his collective composure and ability to actively position himself well. Not necessarily saying he should be awarded the NT RB position, but it wouldn't be at all ridiculous to seriously consider him for the starting spot. As you say, Saravia hasn't done enough to warrant it for himself just yet, while Mercado and Casco are already 30+. Other than that what options would there be? Fabricio Bustos? I can't think of too many alternatives in the position, so I think it's pretty much a guarantee Montiel will be in CA2020 (whether he'll be the starter or sub is another topic) unless some obscure gem pops out of nowhere in the coming months. Another thing to consider is his understanding on the pitch with Martinez Quarta, who also has high chances of being in the CA roster: the two have been starters in defense all year for River and played together in the youth divisions since 2012. Such chemistry can only be a positive thing for the NT
I have to say, I'm kinda upset that I didn't end up going. I Me and our #18 Giovani Lo Celso @UCLA today. Got to watch Argentina train and prepare for their friendly versus Chile on Thursday. He looked sharp in training and looked like he got along with Dybala extremely well👀#THFC @Daily_Hotspur pic.twitter.com/PcEYyo23Sg— KULUSEVSKI IS MY FATHER (@sportsg03170047) September 4, 2019 ADP and Dybala just strolling around UCLA's campus. Damn it... when will you ever see that again? I showed my buddy this picture, he said ADP must be visiting Fat Sal's... (That is somewhat of a SoCal joke. Fat Sal's is a sandwich spot here in LA, which originally opened up in Westwood Village, which is pretty much UCLA, and they serve these huge unhealthy sandwiches...) #DelPiero e #Dybala insieme alla UCLA! I don't understand why we are wearing alternates, especially with blue shorts which kinda clash with Chile.
