Looks like Mastantuono wants to go out for a loan which is a smart decision Hopefully, he goes to Como to link up with Nico Paz and Perrone @SupaMario 🚨🇦🇷 Real Madrid are ready to give the green light to Franco Mastantuono’s exit on loan this summer. No buy option clause; straight loan as Mastantuono seen in similar position as Endrick in January.More than 5 clubs in Spain and abroad, on it.🎥 https://t.co/u1nM8kA5mK pic.twitter.com/wS16COrbw3— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 22, 2026
He made the decision to join them, he could have gone to PSG, but according to reports he was only interested in joining Real Madrid. And it's not as if he would have been on poverty wages at PSG.
Mostly romero also out of england , hopefully he lands in decent club. With current situation i dont want him to land along with cules
Otamendi looking to play for River this week against Barracas Mafiosi. Think he would be a wonderful mentor to Tobias Ramirez who left Argentinos Juniors maybe Rivero if he stays to pass on his experience and garra. Would also add we have had a look at Joaquin Gauna at left back and continue to do so with Escobar, Soler and del Blanco. Another good crosser of the ball, tenacious and good passer and relatively pacy with some work still to do positioning wise and on one on ones. Also loves to pop up in the box and one of the better performers for Sevilla in a poor season. Dad was a River socio and the kid is also a River fanatic. So first match we have after this sad end to the WC we should call him up to start with del Blanco and also call up Tresoldi.
Masta should just go to Italy. Not England or Germany. Find a middle of the table club where he can play. Como would be great since they’ll be playing European football but any will do. Portugal wouldn’t be all that bad either. I wouldn’t be shocked if Benfica takes a look at him. Cuti should also go to Inter. He knows the Serie A well and plus, players who go to Italy extend their careers a bit more. He’s gonna be 32 for the next tournament, so we need to seriously look around for other CBs. I’ve said it before, our players do not need to be in England. Anselmino, I think his potential is unlimited but I fear he’s going to be one of those players who can’t ever get healthy, the body just won’t allow it. We have a good flock of players coming around. I’m curious to see who makes the next and important leap over. @Albiceleste2010 … also this notion of calling up Tresoldi… Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea. We need players who fight for the shirt and understands our football and the culture. We don’t need mercenaries. I’m not sure he even speaks the language… Finally, I think the loss of the final might hurt the EuroPibe market, particularly for those kids who are in Spain. Not sure if they’ll jump over because the Gallegos will be shiny new toy. Not many of them have really worked out anyways other than Paz but his dad was an international of ours.
Lol just had a coworker ask me “how do you feel about 2030? It’s gonna be tough, huh, without Messi.. i dont knowwww maaaan” man these people are completely clueless to our depth, not to mention our extensive history. But even without looking backwards, we have so much talent all over the globe to provide hope. As many said even before this WC, 2030 seemed perhaps like the more interesting project to get excited about We’re 4 years away and Argentina are already contenders for 2030. It’s hilarious that those who are ignorant to reality think Messi is our only link to glory.
I feel more excited than this current squad becuse it was suppose to be everything this current one was meant to be Bruno cabral will be 19 years old by then, I wonder if he will be a major part of the team in terms of depth by that time. i hope he's the dynamo so far he seems to be and not just another endrick who dominated at youth ranks and flamed out at the moment - but more like a early ronaldo brazilian type
You should tell people we basically won the last CA without Messi. People think Argentina is Messi and the Pips…
Tresoldi's mother is Argentine. I am sure like Nico they can buy into what the seleccion means and the shirt. I'd rather he represented us with what could potentially be an enormous breakout season and a profile we need than end up with Germany. Sure we are going have several pibes emerging as seen at u17 u15 level with parents of the diaspora or a father or mother. We need to make sure we maximize out future by getting hold of those are the best and getting them into our fold. And they do have Argentine connections. Mauro del Castillo our current u17 keeper moved from Spain u15 when our network in Europe discovered his parentage and his potential with him as the Castilla keeper. I know some will say Argentina is a proud nation particularly in football but we should take every advantage we can get. And denying Tresoldi to Germany and Italy would be great as well.
It's a pity Ruberto has had his injuries hampering his development as his profile would be more the hulking nine that plays pretty centrally most of the time and acts as a forward focus. Ferreira is a similar style to Alvarez and really skilled in the wide areas and a good playmaker as a false nine. We'll also see how Woiski gets on along with Esquivel too who really need to get a move on with their careers.
I think he'll be back, and esquivel too will be a good choice Woiski doesn't seem to have potential, he's been in the reserves for a few years and I don't see him being that signficant from what i've seen so far
Lmao they confiscated their phones on their way out They be like “got ‘em!” Now I’m starting to think this whole WC was organized in the states just to lure chiqui in and trap him
David Romero who about a year ago I said was an interesting forward is now being linked to Boca. Talented player. Some players are just snake bitten. Hopefully Panichelli comes back healthy.
For all the silliness and petulance that has plagued Alejandro Garnacho’s career, he can look, at times, drained of confidence. This has affected his performances, causing him to become hesitant to take players on and utilise his best characteristics, which are his pace and… pic.twitter.com/4V0wAcKQbj— The Athletic | Football (@TheAthleticFC) July 22, 2026
It would be great if he is indicted with his cronies. Meanwhile all the whinging scumbags are whining like little biatches about what happened after the final whistle. They'll be nothing without Messi. They will become like Uruguay. The players beat their wives as well. They must be banned from international football. Man some sad little losers out there especially from Mexico, Spain and England. Next Copa and WC need to stuff these words right back down their throats.
Woiski was prolific at youth level for Mallorca. He needs to develop his all around game and pace and power only do so much to a certain age.
I think Paz knew what the shirt meant because of his father. I don't think he had to buy into it. This shouldn't be like college recruiting like we have here in the US. I know the notion of "Getting with the times..." but what makes our team so unique is that the fans connect with the players because we are one. Plus, I think somebody like Tresoldi' will end up with Germany, they'll cap him soon enough. Klopp is a good manager and won't let him slip away. If Scaloni really wants him, then call him up to the next friendlies. But as I said, he'll likely go and play for the Germans... I am sure we will have another great striker pop up sooner or later. We always do. But it is strange that we have two youth keepers that are with Madrid. You mentioned del Castillo and there is also Castelau. Just to add- There is also Leguizamon who is with Tigre that we took that looks promising. We took him to the Mundial, not sure if it was us being superstitious with taking a goalie from Tigre (Like Gerth) but he seems like a big and imposing goalie. https://www.tycsports.com/seleccion...eleccion-argentina-mundial-2026-id733680.html
Barca plays that crazy high line system Flick likes, not sure that's good for Cuti or what we want our defenders practicing in the first place.
Call up Tresoldi and we'll find out one way or another if he cares for the shirt. These things aren't always predictable. I know from following USA anyway. Jermaine Jones was a guy who seemed German through and through (still has a really heavy German accent) and yet he played his ass off for USA and bled for the shirt, Paredes style.
I think we should get Tresoldi and stick it to them. I think he will be a top class striker. He performs he'll connect he has an Argentine mum. Who is a River fan @locoxriver while he is a Boca fan @Burr. I'm pretty sure he'd understand. The reason we have the network in Europe is to make sure we don't miss out on top talents from the diaspora. If there was one in the USA then we should go for them. The vast majority of the squad will always be grown and trained within the Argentine canteras.
I hope lionel messi takes everything he's seen from this world cup personally (the hate) and he channels that into make argentine football better using all the trade secrets he's learned from barcelona and spain and he sky rockets argentine football even further We can't make him do what he wants, but if this lights a fire under him instead of dipping quietly into the night to retire That's my hope
https://www.instagram.com/thenationofblaugrana/ INFO: According to Leo Paradizo, Julián Álvarez and his camp feel betrayed and disrespected by Atlético Madrid, believing the club have failed to honour their promise to facilitate his departure. They are also unhappy that Atlético publicly addressed Álvarez’s future just before the World Cup final, feeling the timing was inappropriate.
