Not a fan. Meza is the real talent for River.

 

He really is very able. Another good season and Klopp will try and cap him for the Germs.​

 

For the rebuild, there is still talent that we should be one of the favorites for the Copa America 2028

I added Players with their ages by the time the Copa comes around (but of course things can change and a new manager can be worse). As much as I love Dibu, he will be 37 by the time the WC2030 comes along - time to bed in Beltran and give him that experience. Plan well, this could be the squad for the WC2030 but of course players can fizzle out and new players can be found.

Copa should be interesting. Hopefully we have a good manager and some youth steps up. One plus of having automatic WC qualification is we should be able to audition and test these guys in the run up without the temptation of running out the same vets to get results.

 

Scaloni has many spare games but still ended up picking the usual suspects, which is why I'd rather have new passionate manager that brings new energy.

 

He was in tears at the thought of saying goodbye to this group and starting again so maybe he should spare himself any more grief and ride off into the sunset. His contract is up in December. I assume we have some goodbye friendly scheduled in Argentina before then.

 

I'd thank him big time but its definetely time for a change. He looked totally drained and just going through the motion in this tournament. His disasterous gameplan and subs in the final was very uncharacteristic of him.

As Albiceleste2010 and Pekerman said , football isnt a rocket science, there's bad decisions which even casual observers could notice but somehow the manager seems unable to notice.

 

I hope we add Tresoldi (24) in 2030 to the forward depth chart. Feel like he will have a breakout season.

Anselmino is top class but someone in biomechanics needs to study him as they did with Leo and figure out why he is breaking down continually because until he sorts that out he will never acquire the experience needed to become a top class CB which he is more than capable of.

Escobar (21) also can be added in. Flying attacking fullback who has real pace too. A bit rash with his positioning and tackling at times but that can be learnt.

 

I hope it's the other way around. Scaloni doesn't like Tapia the Hutt. Hopefully Messi speaks up. All it takes is a few words from Leo about Tapia and he will be gone.

 

Thats our hope & expectation.

Errrrr no thanks despite his record with Colombia and work with the age group sides....Prefer Placente or Muneco.

 

I’m just hoping it’s some leverage from his camp, which will bluff the Colombians into re-upping him.

And yeah, Lorenzo would be a nightmare hire…
