Sure we will lose Messi this time (but you never know) but the talent factory is producing on overload at the moment. You'll have your core with Romero, Enzo and Julian still and all these youngsters to develop over the next 3-4 years. Escobar at left back, several talented CBs, 3-4 talented central and attacking mids and we'll see how the new crop of strikers develop.

More than likely we will see 3-4 of these pibes start to explode over the next few years. Keeping wise you'll still have Dibu but it's imperative a couple of the younger kids step up as well.

 

Beltran from River is the one that many are saying will take over the reins after Dibu.

 

I would have taken him as the third. Just for the experience. Although didn't he come in to the pre WC training squad.

 

It would be great if we can just set up friendlies with Spain, Portugal and Morocco for a change. Not to mention, imagine if the brazucas finish like fourth… unlikely but still!

If we did a weighting of opponents for Cristina in internatonal football Messi would be even further ahead.

Fulham....A very bad idea. Send him to Bologna or Atalanta where they develop younger players. Or Como indeed although him and Paz in the same side might be problematic. Juventus.....don't like the club at all.
