    Worst squad since 20
We don't have a single youngster who has made a starting spot his own. Awful cycle.

That was a joke. I think Scaloni has been incredible. I'm mimicking the anti-scalonitas on the forum after every the latest goal by a random flash in the pan.

Yeah, it is disappointing. When the WC22 was over, we immediately said that LB rejuvenation was needed given the age of Tagliafico and Acuna, but Barco is much suited as a midfielder and Soler hasn't developed much at all.

Next cycle, hopefully some good options appear.

If only he would unretire from the NT for 3 months. What a wildcard to be able to play off the bench, or even starting select games.

Yes, and I posted the wrong goal. This one is his recent goal against Independiente.

DiMaria might have the most interesting career of all Argentinean legends. I am not a DiMaria supremist, but he was knocked around, came up short several times while at the same time the reason any titles were won. Its an insane career.

He was/is so iconic but also soooo infuriating.

I would pay to watch Angelito sit on a rocking chair at the edge of the opponent's box.

Hat trick for Messi tonight. And they needed it with all the stupid goals they allowed

BOTH Montiel and Acuña out injured for River.

I give up, call Giay, use Barco as LB sub. We can't take the entire hospital to the world cup.

Giay is slow, I rather have Capaldo as the RB.

Barco is now a midfielder, better to have Medina as the LB.

In terms of profile, Silvetti is the LW that the national team is crying for. He'll be important to the team for years to come imo.

Not to be a you know what... but Acuña missing out won't be the worst thing in the world. The guy is a liability and he's a liability in the Primera, imagine somebody with a bit of speed and class running his way.

Montiel is not a bad back-up to have, so hopefully he's okay.

No... I mean't a bad back-up to Molina, who happens to be also be injured,

Well, does not look like Huevo's injury is too serious.

Probably a grade 1, which will put him out 3-4 weeks. I don't think Scaloni should risk taking him. He's going to get absolutely embarrassed at the Mundial if Scaloni tries to play. I do not think he knows how sorry he is... Scaloni might just have to play with a back 3.

Its so weird that so many of our players are getting these injuries right now. . . all these players getting injuries that will keep them sidelined for only 2 weeks and the WC is 4 weeks away. . . sooo fortunate that these injuries will not keep them out of the WC, but rather, it could benefit them to have this rest before the tournament starts. Oh boy, if I was a conspiracy theorist, I would be connecting these dots

A player like Acuña does not need rest to get ready for the Mundial... he needs a freakin time machine. I do not advocate for players to get hurt or anything but certain players missing out on the tournament is addition by subtraction. Huevo is a disaster waiting to happen. We all can see it happening... other than Scaloni. Certain managers are so emotional tied to players, they do not want to hurt the moral of the team. This type of approach should also be a fireable offense. It is a joke.

Whether its real or just a phantom injury, its better now than in middle of tournament like what happened to ADM & Aguero in 2014.

Dibu helped Aston Villa to finished 4th place, securing CL spot. He made great saves but conceided two goals from aerial threats...

Buendia is playing on the left a lot lately.

Dark horse to make the list in case Nico suffers another hamstring setback?

We won the last WC without Nico, he's not as crucial as Scaloni tries to make him to be.

I don't think it's anything serious but I am wondering what happened...

    This is what Cesc said..

"Nico Paz is injured, he will not be there tomorrow with Parma,”Fabregas told the press. “He had a knock to the knee. If it had been played on Monday, we might be in a different situation, but in all honesty I can’t say if he’ll play the last game either. I hope so, but I couldn’t tell you for sure"
