Hurts the damn eyes. One thing that is interesting is that once Troilo made it to europe he disappeared from the NT. There's no good option but I guess Senesi and Troilo would be the best bet. Shame Gomez is struggling for playing time he's badly needed.

I think Gomez is getting playtime recently in La Liga at LB? He played last weekend but conceded a soft penalty lol

Speaking of goalies... Didn't get a chance to watch the entire Atletico match but I hear Musso played really well. Seems like we have a solid backup.

He was good for sure. The save he made immediately after Barca tied it was Dibu esque

Yea, that close range save against Yamal at the end of the first leg proof to be the catalyst of their progression. He did it again today. The first leg clean sheet in CDR semi was also crucial as it helped them reached the final.

Does anyone notice that in last 2 decades Atletico Madrid actually always beat Barcelona everytime the face at KO stage? 2014 and 2016 they also beat Messi's Barca.

Since Atletico Madrid has made it to CL top 4 , if they win CDR, they'd be stucked with Cholo for another decade.:D

I can't believe how much we've won recently and some people are still complaining :D - I would take 120 more years of this if possible

We need Cuti like water in the desert.
Licha was looking great prior to his last injury, his returned looked rushed.

    We seriously need both.

I really hope we take Nico Paz and Barco, we need that element of surprise, renovation.

Nico Paz is 100% going, I think he will start in fact. Barco is 60/40, but I'm sure he'll get another playing time in next two friendlies and hopefully he'd impress. Those games would be very close to the WC I'm sure Scaloni will be lots of rotation/subs.

Nah man, the 30 or so years before were so much sweeter. The fandom could really get into its loser identity. Winning is so damn boring!

When other top teams losing in qualifiers & friendlies, these fans never make a big deal about it. Scaloni's teams losing meaningless games , these people loses their mind completely:laugh:. We won our latest tournament, beat Uruguay & Brazil when it mattered, but the lackluster 4 spare games are the ones that counted for these type of fans.:D

There are no next two friendlies where he’ll get opportunities. You have to submit your roster by the end of May. Our next friendlies are in June.

That's the thing. Those of us who are hyper critical want us to continue our winning ways. We want to negate any mistakes that we see. We see flaws and want them to be addressed.

Speaking of Paz… I really hope he does not return to Madrid. It appears there is a bit of infighting, and let’s be frank, the team has gotten much worse since the Ninja Turtle has arrived. The egos on some of those players are something to behold.

Paz’s family has been smart in getting him out of their academy side and letting him go elsewhere to develop. I hope he stays another year with Como or just goes to another club. Inter are desperate for him, and who knows, maybe he sticks around in Italy. He is far too talented to join a circus.

I also do not know why Enzo wants to go to Madrid so badly. If the Brazucas and the Ninja Turtle were not there, then maybe… but that is not the case. Perhaps the only good thing would be him taking Masta under his wing. The kid seems miserable there. Yes, in an ideal world, Enzo, Masta, and Paz playing together would be great, but that is a very hostile environment. As the old adage goes, they are allowing the lunatics to run the asylum.

I wouldn’t mind Atletico winning this thing, even though I’d rather our players rested. But it would be extremely funny that PSG wins back to back CLs as soon as KM left.

Atleti are so far ahead of 5th place that all the starters for the CL semis will surely be rested completely the league games prior. Not a danger of our guys being gassed for the World Cup hopefully.

Yea that's what I actually mean, Barco to be included on June friendlies. Those last 2 friendlies would be just 7-10 days before WC started.

The thing with Atletico is that they literally have 5 players there that are part of Scaloni's main squad (not counting Musso). They also will have CDR final within a few days. Alvarez and Giu already approaching 50 games this season.

Hopefully no more injury scares, already happened to Lautaro, Licha, Dibu and Cuti. I remember Di Maria blew himself out after winning the CL final in 2014.

Paz with another one. Goalie error but still a goal is a goal.

Actually, never mind. I see that Paz scanned where the goalie was right before asking for the ball.

Musso with a huge blunder in the first 15 seconds of the match of the CdR Final.

It's strange. We have goalies who will play absolutely lights out and then the following game they will make themselves look foolish.

Another shocker from Musso. Gives up a very foolish penalty. I guess you can say he’ll be going back on the bench for the CL. Cholo won’t trust him in the CL again.

Like many Argentine players with mental collapse and concentration. Musso feels similar, like one of those players you can’t fully trust in crucial moments.

Cholo takes out Lookman who is a major threat to bring on Nico G. He’ll surely save the day!

    Watch him score now…
