Calm down and try living under islamic dictatorship for a day. Or try living in Venezuela under communism. Ask the Iranians here for their opinions maybe? Messi did the right thing. If anything refusing would be a cringe political move. And good that Trump said he is better than Pele thats an additional W
Palacios is having a great match against Arsenal so far. Winning ball, aggressive and good with the ball.
This sound like the meme "But what if you were gay in Gaza?" I'I’m not defending the Iranian government, but no matter how bad it is, I’m against a foreign nation attacking and killing civilians. Would you have supported the USSR if they had attacked us during the last dictatorship under the excuse of liberating us from the Junta? I don't know what Venezuela has to do with this, but they were so communist that they let Maduro's vicepresident in charge. Yeah man, refusing to meet a guy who thinks latinos are all trash is so cringy
everytime one inch of politics is raised in this thread, someone with a revolutionary opinion comes charging in with their paper cut out kalashnikov and beer gut sticking out stick to football, there's a politics thread if you want to talk
The Finalissima is becoming a giant headache. The Gallegos now want the match in the Bernabéu, but we are against it. The Qataris still want it held in Doha. There is something like 60 million euros involved with TV rights and etc., at least toward the Spanish side. I am not sure what cut the AFA would be getting, but we want it held elsewhere, perhaps in Italy. The Gallegos are making much more of a push for the final to be played in the Spanish capital. I would just say cancel this thing. There are too many logistical issues, but money is money. I was going to say that if we do end up dropping out, the Gallegos would have pushed for the Colombians to take our spot, but they have matches against Croatia and France during that time.
Just play them in Spain, not like there aren't a lot of Argentines there. At least I wouldn't be afraid. Let's see a real challenge for once and if we get smashed so be it we need the reality check. But whatever if we cancel I don't care that much either, just doesn't seem like the hill to die on for a trophy that isn't really that much of a thing.
LOL Chiqui Mafia says he wants it played in the Monumental. Good luck with that. "España quiere que la Finalissima se juegue en España y yo quiero que se juegue en el Monumental": tras presentarse en Tribunales para declarar en la causa por la presunta evasión, "Chiqui" Tapia habló de la sede del partido entre los campeones de América y Europa https://t.co/sCnIRja6EJ pic.twitter.com/FOZPLtXaN0— MDZ Online (@mdzol) March 12, 2026
Virtue signalling is cancer in itself. People pretending to care about other countries like they ever care to help people of their own country.
Whatever happens in Finalissima or friendlies prior to WC will not reflect both teams performance at WC. The WC itself would be a different situation as a whole. We came to last WC after long unbeaten run only to be beaten by Saudi but then eventually lifted the trophy. Spain beating us 6-1 prior to WC 2018 , only to be eliminated by mother Russia. We beat Germany in Germany prior to WC 2010 with mighty Higuain scoring the winner. If this match gets cancelled then the actual blame would be on that bootleg Euro tournament. Finalissima will be nothing more than Super cup type of match. He'd pocket 90% of the $
Tapia and his three-dollar-looking fade is just talking for the sake of talking. It will not be played at the Monumental for a few reasons. Of course the Gallegos will not want it there for the same reason we will not want it in Madrid. Second, the travel simply will not make sense, at least for them. We do not care about the travel. And finally, the main reason is that AC/DC will have two concerts at River around those days. I think it could seriously be canceled. And honestly, it will not be a big deal. Since that Qatari money is not there and we will not get a huge chunk, Tapia is probably thinking, “Then what is the point?” I also recall Scaloni talking about not being a fan of the game being played so close to the Mundial. If it had been played a year ago or so, I think it would have made more sense. So I do not think we are clamoring for this game to be played. But the biggest problem is that we will not have any friendlies. We were also supposed to play Qatar on the 31st in Qatar, and I am sure it was for big money. Now we will not have any opponents for this window while many of our rivals are playing big matches and we are sitting on the sidelines. A few days ago it was reported that “in the next hours or day, we will know what happens between Argentina and Spain.” The next hours have now turned into three or four days. The longer this goes on, the more apparent it becomes that the match may simply be put on the back burner and perhaps be played after the Mundial. Tapia met with Domínguez earlier, and I am sure he was trying to find out how much money we can get, or should I say, how much money he can get from all of this. It does appear nothing really constructive happened from this meeting, which is not exactly a shocker. I am sure Tapia and the goons of CONMEBOL pulled out their phone and showed one another their latest new purchase...
If this get cancelled, which looks very likely atm, what the ******** do we do re friendlies in this window?

Chelsea beaten 5-2 by PSG, but Enzo scored & assisted their goals. Panichelli scored another. 18 goals in all competition.
More and more convinced that he is our number 9 and the Mac, Mac and Julian of WC 2022. 18 goals in all competitions is wild considering he was playing in the Segunda División just one year ago.
Yea, I believe him and Paz could be a revelation for us at the WC much like Mac, Enzo and Julian in 2022. Almada is another, he tend to perform well in NT regardless his club form.
Apparently, this will be our warmup kits... Looks like some pajamas a grandpa would wear before going to bed.

Idk, I kinda like it… what can I say. Has a retro, early 90s look to it, and I like the minor gold/white touch to the Adidas logo in the middle
Maybe if it had the Trefoil logo instead of the giant stripped. Maybe if I see it in person or if it goes on sale, I’ll purchase it… Adidas recently released this quietly. It’s a retro from 94. If it had the AFA logo, which I’m wondering why it doesn’t have, I would’ve gotten it. The Cocoa-Cola one, I get, licensing and etc. But we’re with Adidas, so; why not put the logo on?
