🗣️Donald Trump: “Leo picked the pocket of a Whitecaps defender and sent a pass to the great Rodrigo De Paul. Where the hell is Rodrigo? Do you have any bad-looking players on this team?” 😄 pic.twitter.com/FjNhfcFPYK— Inter Miami News Hub (@Intermiamicfhub) March 5, 2026
Seeing Messi and the rest of the team applauding like seals as that lunatic talks about bombing Iran is beyond depressing. Diego will always be the King. "The Americans gave me an award. They gave me one in Cuba too. I told the Americans: Keep it for yourselves, I’m getting one in Cuba!" - Diego Armando Maradona. pic.twitter.com/4A59BqK5a2— Alan MacLeod (@AlanRMacLeod) March 6, 2026
In more relevant news... Scaloni needs to figure out a way to have both Messi and Paz on the pitch. Paz has such a unique profile that none of our players have. The only thing about him is that he is very emotional. I remember a game earlier in the season where he took a penalty at that last kick of the game and it was saved, he was in tears. I get that he cares but at a Mundial, you need to keep your emotions in check. But nevertheless, I am excited to see him grow. Also, Perrone is somebody else that I think could make a last minute entry. Nico Paz es el fútbol personificado. pic.twitter.com/oTfShTwVpl— Ataque Futbolero (@AtaqueFutbolero) March 6, 2026
You should see the iranians celebrating. Maradona was pro Chavez and Castro. You know actual dictators.
True but speaking of Maradona, takes everything he said as grain of salt. Too much drugs in his system. We all know he stopped growing as person since his teenage days.
It's not fair to judge Messi who is basically in a no-win situation. If he and his teammates make a big stink and don't go then a different group of people get offended and probably start sounding off against Latinos and soccer (which has always been perceived as un-american by the right, Trump being the odd exception), making things worse. Not to mention it'd piss off the team owner, who is very MAGA apparently. All over a stupid photo op that means nothing and will be forgotten in a month.
The only place that I see Paz can play that has Messi on the pitch is the position that MacAllister plays. MacAllister seems to have picked up some form with Liverpool. We'll see what happens at the end of the season.
Many other teams and sport celebrities have declined the invitation and nothing ever happens. Better to piss off those who started a war and are committing a genocide than to smile with them. Messi is the "owner" of Inter Miami, we all know that nobody even in the MLS would care about them if Messi wasn't there and probably nobody would care about them after Messi retires, Mas knows this that's why if Messi said "I don't want to go" he wouldn't said nothing. Beckham, for example, didn't go. Messi doesn't care about the averege US citizen opinion of football or latinos, and if he does it's because he wants to make the sport profitable in the US for his own sake. Trump has already show us that he doesn't like latinos (whether they're in the US or not) and has said horrible comments about us, I don't like seeing Messi taking a picture smilling with a guy who thinks I'm less than him
Muzzu used San Lorenzo's "tragedies" as a form for gain views despite he being a "fan", that's why most of us hate him. Besides that, I gonna criticize Messi all I want, just as some of the criticism Diego received was right, one thing is to create a division between them about "who is/was better" because it's ridiculous, and another to question whether or not it's okay to take a picture smiling and clapping with a guy who just said he was going to bomb a country and a few days ago started a war bombing a school and killing more than 160 kids. If he don't want to be criticized, or at least receive less criticism, he can simply not be part of any political event.

To the fine people of ADIDAS, I am already going to order that jersey. No need for it to be on full display like that.. Also, it seems people really like it... I bet it'll sell faster and better than the home kits. I think it will end up being a classic.

Julian scores for Atletico... He literally walked it in... They are up 3-0 vs Tottenham And all 3 goals were some of the most horrid mistakes you will ever. Cuti can't leave soon enough. And Tottenham sub out their goalie.
His two goals literally looks like his goals against Australia and Croatia. He reached 20 CL goals I think. I hope he doesnt blow himself out prior to the WC. Some of those sprints were crazy. Looks even faster than the one he did in WC 2022.
