According to this, both Nicolas Capaldo and Tomas Palacios are looked at by Scaloni.

Sucks that Capaldo went off injured in the 20th minute today. Hope he didn't suffer any terrible injury.

Mac scored again. Glad he's finding his form in later half of the season.

Regarding the Finalissima, it doesn’t seem like they plan on canceling it (at least according to De La Fuente):

They'll play it in Miami because Infantino will want to reward Trump for starting WW3 and give him another peace prize.

Except Lautaro has scored some big goals and helped win the World Cup and multiple Copas, even through his injuries. I rate Lautaro above Aguero in terms of NT performance.

Lautaro scored and assisted the first two goals in Finaliisima. Also scored many in qualifier. He actually had 7 goals & 3 assists in 2022 qualifier.

Messi second goal in WC final was from Lautaro indirect assist.

Panichelli scored another and helped his side to reach Coupe de France semi. He has 17 goals in all competition, only 1 less than Lautaro.

    Panichelli... More like Penichelli, amiritie?!?!?

But yeah, he needs to be given a serious look. He provides us something different. I also noticed he tracks back and fights to get the ball back, which is something Scaloni wants.

    Yes, PenneChili

Actually he did get a call up in Argentina latest game against Angola and played as a sub. So even before he took his game to another level this year, Scaloni already rates him.

I don't know if he has to be in the WC, but he has to get a look. I wanna see what he's like in the shirt.

What more does he have to do? He’s the joint top scorer in his first year in a top 5 league. He works his ass off without the ball and gives us another attacking dimension. If you don’t reward players for their performances, then what are we doing?

Different position amongst these guys, but its not even close who has earned a spot on the WC team; Penne all day

I know that you (@SupaMario ) didn't mean to compare all these players as if they are going to used for one spot, got it, but if only one of these guys can go - Penne all day.

If we're talking about third choice striker behind Lautaro & Julian, then I'd definetely take Panichelli. The WC is just few months away and we should pick the most on-form player. JML also in good form , but I still think Penne has more attributes. His style is similar to Lewa and he's only 23. Taty only has 25 goals in last 110 games or something, he shouldnt be a consideration.

Saw something I'd don't recall seeing before, Garnacho had a really good game.
