Looks like Enzo can't make it due to injury. Enzo had a brilliant game today and had good chemistry with Garnacho

I would call up Valentin Gomez from Betis to see him as a potential LB. I've given hope that Soule will ever be called up.

One thing I like from Garnacho is that he's equally comfortable with both feet, whether shooting or passing.

Also, given his playing style I wouldnt be surprise if Scaloni ended up calling him back (if he could maintain his recent form) instead of having Soule.

We all know if a player has the ability to beat pass opponent by running a straight line, he's world class in Scaloni's book:whistling:

So what’s the solution to the fullbacks problem? It’s the one glaring weakness in an otherwise amazing squad.

LB - we have a solid LB in Tagliafico so we're fine. Need to find the back up LB and there's a few options in Valentin Gomez and Ortega. Nico G. has been tried, but don't think ATM will play him there anytime soon so probably move on from that idea.

RB - Molina needs to get out of ATM. Montiel needs to stay fit.

We do have a lot of players who can pass and we do need players that offer a vertical transition threat. Soule can do that and can actually dribble. If he were right footed and played on the LW, he would have definitely been a starter for now. Even then, I'd rather have Soule over someone like Mastantuono in terms of profile of the squad.

Looks like Lisandro has been called up for the November friendly.

Not sure if he is able to play, but would be great for him to see a few minutes vs Angola.

Watched Villa Emi B had a fantastic free kick goal

And Emi M with a beautiful penalty save. Kept a clean sheet he's had a very good year so far.

So, Strasbourg won 2-0 with Emegha scoring 2. He has returned from injury. Now, Panichelli is apparently playing behind him in the attacking line, which is kinda limiting him. They are kinda of playing with 2 9s but the Dutchman is leading the line. It is something to keep our eye on. Panichelli started red hot but let's see what happens over the next few weeks.

Problem that Panichelli will face is that we really don't need 3 strikers in the WC squad of 26 players. Potentially, if it's 28 player, then I could see him.

Speaking of WC squad, watching Valentin Gomez play as LB for Betis rn. I'm more than convinced that he should be the 2nd LB in the WC. The pace, calmness and technical ability is really good.

Garnacho is a total d**k but he has talent, if he concentrates more on his football that being a d**k he might yet make the world cup squad.

Do you understand the meme potential if this guy makes the WC squad and somehow makes some noise in the tournament? It will be unprecedented

But who's the CB next to him? If Martinez/ANselmino are injury or not up to it then Gomez should easily be that guy.

Id rather have Tag at LB starting than Otamendi at CB.

We also have Senesi and Balerdi who can play at the LCB position so we have options.

LB and RB are the 2 positions that worries me so I'd rather try to find quality there first.

Balerdi was abysmal last time out... Otamendi was far better.

    Senesi scares me too.

I'd say give them chances - neither of them had regular appearances for the national team, especially Senesi. Otamendi was absolutely horrible making mistakes here and there before Romero was introduced.

Ok, can we now bring in Soule please..?

and I agree with the tweet below. There is a time and place to visit countries like Angola, Bangladesh and etc. but now is definitely not the time to do so. What a disgrace.

I feels that Scaloni tend to refuse calling up players that are starter quality if they're not part of his plan A.

Buendia has been called up as he's shown great form recently for Villa.

As of this post, the squad is something like this. I'm surprised that Almada is able to get the paperworks done when his ATM mates do not.

    GK: Rulli, Benitez
    RB: Kevin
    CB: Foyth, Romero, Otamendi, Senesi
    LB: Tagliafico

    CDM: Paredes, Perrone
    CM: RDP, Barco
    AM: MacA, Lo Celso, Paz

    RW: Messi, Buendia
    CF: Lautaro, Panichelli
    LW: Almada, Prestianni, Nico G.

Julián Álvarez, Giuliano Simeone and Nahuel Molina are all out of Argentina’s match against Angola on Friday. In addition, Cuti Romero was subbed out this past weekend due to an injury.

Ok Scaloni, let's see you audible now
