Echeverri is a good shout. I can understand Foyth being iffy, but why Medina?

Two more assists for Paz. The second being a beauty. Just a great season for the kid.

I do not know how true the rumors are, but Mastantuono is apparently holding out for Madrid. Honestly, I have no idea why he would want to go to Real, where he could be throwing away his potential. Liverpool and City are reportedly interested, and he is expected to reject both for Real. The rumor is he will join on January of 26. If he seriously wants to be among the 28 players at the World Cup, he will probably have to wait it out.

Madrid also want to bring back Paz, but he wants to stay at Como for another year. His father has managed his career carefully and admirably, so we will see what the next step is. I think both of these players can—and should—be among the 28 going to the Mundial next year. We will need their dynamism and youthful talent to balance out the veterans.

Another disaster class by Masche. Messi needs to put his foot down and get him fired before it's too late.

Also Redondo straight up sucks, so many useless passes. Weigandt with an idiotic own goal too. Stop playing guys just because they're Argentinian lol

It has more to do with playing time. That is the concern.

It’s a major shame think Redondo has regressed so much. He showed promise but he has shown absolutely nothing since moving to the States. And Masche should never get another job. I’d feel bad for a team in B that gets him. He’s on the level of Chaca bad.

I don’t know how serious the interest from the teams you mentioned is (he has been linked to practically every single major european club, after all), but word is that as of right now both Manchester United and PSG are willing to pay the full €45m release clause. Other clubs have intended to start negotiations for him, including Atletico Madrid, but didn’t want to pay the full clause.

Apparently Franco doesn’t see Man U as a bad option..

    We’ll see..

Messi asked for this to be honest. How do you support hiring inexperience terrible manager to fight for championship? I wouldnt be surprise if the team somehow sign Armani the next season lol

Well maybe it's easier to maintain ignorance when you don't have to deal with your buddy first hand. All I know is Messi doesn't look happy right now, even after last game when they won 4-1 he looked pissed off at how they were playing.

...and MLS is a type of league which a team can be playing like crap and lose big this week but still somehow win big the next week... which means Masche probably keeps getting a pass.

Just remember how they won the league cup in 2023, conceided goal after goal but still ended up winning the whole thing solely relying on Messi and penalties.

Speaking of Messi, he has reached 860 goals milestone . While CR has scored more than 900 , it took him 90 more matches to reached 860, despite scoring 200+ penalties.

I just don't understand what Messi and Scaloni sees in Mascherano. With both the Argentine Youth teams and with Inter Miami, Mascherano played the wrong players over and over again and everybody, but Mascherano, have the same consensus that other players need to picked.

I refuse to believe that Mascherano is that clueless. You don't get to the top level for a long time without a high playing IQ. Maybe it's an Ego thing? I'm not sure, but I hate bashing on a national legend as big as Mascherano.

If footballing IQ as a player go hand in hand as managing ability, most former great players would have been a great coach but appearently it doesnt work that way. We can simply look at Diego in 2008-2010. Henry is another example. Scaloni wasnt even that good as a player, yet look at his managing ability.

And he ranked third in serie A assist table with 9 assists, only 2 behind the leader. Como has won 5 consecutive games now.

Perrone also provided a great assist for Como. The Como stadium is right by the water. Quite nice. Also, what I found quite surprising from this video is that Como’s GK is Pepe Reina. Dude is pushing mid 40s. But anyways, Nico almost scored a golazo from a free kick in ET.

By IQ, I mean seeing what is happening in the field is not working. Of course, there's more to management like soft skills, motivation, tactics and etc. The issue with Mascherano is that he keeps trying the same thing over and over again with no changes and he thinks everything is all dandy.

Sad that Fabregas will most likely leave Como by the end of the season. If I were Paz, I would try to go to Inter end of this season.

So, some news about Echeverri. City do not want to rush him. They want him to settle down and get used to life in England. He’s practiced with the team and has impressed. But again, they do not want to rush him. Rumor says he may be given time to play in the CWC. It is still up in the air what they’ll do with him for the 25-26 season. It was initially reported that he would be loaned out but that has changed. Perhaps it has to do with him being impressive and they want to incorporate him into the first team sooner than later. That would be my assumption why the loan talks cooled down.

These are all positive signs. There is a ton of talent.‘I know he left River not playing all that well but he already had his sights on Manchester. He was great for Sub 20 qualifiers, which I really hope they let him go. Pep has been a bit generous over the years to let players go, so hopefully we will see more of him in Chile.

To add to that I've been following echeverri news like a hawk.

    - Guardiola said in his own words probabaly the cwc, that was 3 months ago. So now it's more of a resounding yes.
    - Echeverri had bulked up and trim lined his physique. It clears they are prepping him
    - He's constantly playing on rotating teams and on the winning side. latest pictures have him with the Debruyne and the older members of city. Which means progression. His first pictures were outliers with the younger players
    - One article mentioned Julian went through the same process where he was kept in the shadow for a bit. We saw how that went down for city at julian.
    - The rumours have cooled down possibly because he has impressed a lot. They have also been pushing media coverage on the first team channel with him. Which means he will be a part of city next year. You don't get that type of coverage on the main social channels if they don't have confidence in you.

With KDB leaving, Man City does need more creativity in the middle and Echeverri can help with that.
