Chelsea has 4 wins in a row, they've climbed to 2nd place. Great to see Mac and Enzo dominating. Mac is suspended from another booking, but its going to give him sometime to rest.
Benja Dominguez scored a goal and an assist to Santiago Castro for Bologna. Interesting prospect to look at for the LW position as that is the position that we lack the most imo. Seems like a player that Scaloni would like. I would much rather Scaloni selects someone like him than the likes of Buonanotte and V. Carboni where we have a plethora of option (especially with Messi there)
Julian with another goal , assisted by RDP . He clearly could have scores plenty when receiving the ball in dangerous area. Hopefully we can find a proper left winger instead of forcing Alvarez to play wide. Atletico has won 8 consecutive matches.
Messi named MLS MVP.. Tweet is a nicely done video (I know Twitter embeds break a lot on BigSoccer lately, keep refreshing til it works if you wanna see) 1865054849802318281 is not a valid tweet id
If Argentina wins vs Uruguay and vs Brazil in March and Bolivia doesn't win all their games in March, then Argentina qualifies automatically to the World Cup 2026. Hopefully this scenario happens in March so that it gives Scaloni more reason to try out new players for the June and September Qualifiers and Argentina players have more time to rest and to prepare for the FIFA Club World Cup thus preventing burn out and injury.
Both Benja Dominguez and Santi Castro started vs Juve away. Benja needs polishing but the talent and football IQ is there. The WC26 is probably too early for him. Santi is more polished and will feature for the national team but the striker position is well covered until WC26. Speaking of striker, Dybala played as a false 9 in a 3-4-3 and he performed amazing as long as the wingers ran into the space that Dybala left when dropping. Paredes, except for one pass that was intercepted, was amazing as well. Concerned about Soule though, feel that he will need to be loaned out in December.
6 G/A in the last 5 Chelsea PL games Incredible form and physically looks better. Where are the haters? 1865821545400086620 is not a valid tweet id
Let's be honest here. I think the real reason was his personal life. I don't understand some of these players. They start popping out kids at 20-21 and try to "settle down" and then they realize "Oh, wait, I am rich" and "I have women throwing themselves at me." A simple stop at the drug store would save these headaches. But nevertheless, I am glad he is finding his footing in England. Unfortunately, Cuti picked up yet another injury.
Paz is being linked to Inter. He apparently went to Pupi's restaurant recently. Inter would be a great place for him.
https://mundoalbiceleste.com/2024/12/08/afa-signs-agreement-for-new-home-of-argentina-national-team/ Wtf? That can't be right. Would make a good substitute stadium but surely they don't mean the primary one for WCQs?
Reading the news, seems like it'll be the stadium for the national team, similarly to how Wembley is for the English NT.
Well I guess they have to find some kind of use for it considering neither Estudiantes nor Gimnasia wanted to play there..
Glad to see Enzo find his footing again. Atletico continues their great run and has now won 9 consecutive games, including 5 wins in La liga. They're only 3 points behind Barca who has played 1 more match. RDP scored again and it was exactly from a position where he usually blast it out of the stadium when playing for Argentina. Lo Celso scored aswell few days ago. Maybe some of our guys has national team success hangover earlier this season.
With that and plus, they didn't had enough rest at the end of the international tournament and the start of the season, which is why I'm worried about the FIFA Club World Cup happening. We should qualify for the WC before the start of the September 2025 International Window, so I'm hoping the players participating in the FIFA Club World Cup so I'm hoping those players get rest in the Sept. 2025 window (and maybe the Oct. and Nov. window too)
I will be surprised if some of the stars go. They will need their rest. But fortunately, I do not think this will be a grueling tournament. I know the South American sides will be up for it. The Europeans? I’m not so sure.
So, City will NOT be loaning out Echeverri. I guess they want him to get settled. Perhaps he’ll be playing with the youth teams for the time being.
It can go south with either the 115 vote and/or echeverri just not having enough in him OR pep can take him under his wing like messi and he flourishes. Unknown. River wanted to keep him, but City were sure they want him asap. I guess pep sees something in him
The kid has underperformed throughout the year for River. A lot of fans kind of lost patience with him and have labeled the sale “highway robbery.” His physique doesn’t allow him to keep up with Primera, so it’s hard to imagine him competing in the Premier League. I wouldn’t expect him to get minutes in City during his first year, but I suppose Pep wants to get him used to his training methods and maybe ‘roid him up. We’ll see. He clearly has that special innate talent that makes him different, but he hasn’t been able to show regular form vs the big dogs
