    Zidane winning player of tournament award alone was already a FIFA act. He received 2 yellows in first 2 games where France failed to win and then France need 2 clear goals in third game to qualify and they did it without Zidane. Zidane then earned a red in the final so I dont know how 3 good games could win you golden ball. Even 2 out of his 3 goals were penalties.
