    I think De Federico is going to have a great season in Brazil, and hopefully displace Messi from the NT.

    I heard Maradona named 4 players for the WC squad? Mascherano, Jonas, Bolatti, Palermo

    Is this true?

    Thank god! even though 3 of those players are on my fantasy list but its still too early u cant guarantee ppl spots lol!

    After the qualifications i think the core of the NT should be Romero, Demi, Mascherano, Di Maria, Messi

    Even though Demi is not a perfect leader because he loses his head sometimes but he still brings toughness and marking and no brain farts but i would throw a leader besides him like Samuel or Pareja

    It really gets interesting when Diego insults the reporter. You can feel the tension in the room.
    Why would Veron say what he said anyways? It wasn't the time and place.

    By the way, look at the difference between Demichelis and Messi. One proud of what he did, the other hiding himself behind Palermo :rolleyes:

    I've been watching Zarate since he was little. He played very well at Velez and gave us many thing to be happy about. His only problem was his willingness to always do one extra move that ended up in him losing the ball.

    It's nice to see that he's maturing. Another nice aspect is that his free kick skills have improved GREATLY. Sure his brother Roly, has had something to do with that.

    Being that we don't have a decent free kick taker on the NT, Zarate should get a shot. Higuain and Mauro should get a shot at starting. Messi and Aguero should be given the power sub roles.

    What do you mean? What I'm saying is on the second video, Messi hides himself from the press while Demichelis, who knows he played a blinder, is game to any questions.

    If he's playing well for Villarreal, he should be on the radar for the NT also. Perhaps the backup playmaker needed.

    He's actually played as a lateral izq. Could be an interesting use of his skills.

    That's a surprise, is he a starter? I remember Batista played him in as left-back against Guatemala a couple of months before the Olympics. He played really well, but surprisingly wasn't taken to Beijing :confused:

    I'm sorry, I meant that he was used as a lb with Velez and not Villareal. He also was played as an enganche with Velez as well.

    Diego said that no matter what Messi does he'll always start him! so i assume even if he grabs a Donut during the match he'll start anyways :D
