First a penalty for Peru and now a red card to Brazil. It's almost like they know the world is watching for the fix now.
Penalty for Brazil. Somewhat questionable. Goes to VAR. Stays penalty. Good call imo. Stupid foul considering the goalie had it. I can see the shoulder to shoulder argument but it looked like intentional obstruction.
Just saw the highlight and that was soft! If that was a penalty then where the hell ours when Arthur crosschecked Otamendi? The hypocrisy never ends with the brazcuas.
https://www.tycsports.com/afa/guerr...ta-que-podria-volver-a-aparecer-20190707.html Is this true? Argentina to ditch CONMEBOL and merge with UEFA? Apparently, UEFA has already invited Argentina? https://www.tycsports.com/seleccion...-la-uefa-y-si-se-suma-argentina-20190707.html I am not a native Spanish speaker, so can please someone translate properly?
If it happens, is this not huge news? Does it imply which World Cup Qualification route we will take, if we were to move away from CONMEBOL? Or is it just for Nation’s League? Whether Messi gets banned or not, I am extremely happy that he said what he said. Good on him, because it has united the team even more.
That penalty for Chile already proof one thing... they decided to VAR it goes against our opponent but when it happened to us twice against Brazil , the ref act like nothing happen, literally. We've yet to count those unpunished blatant fouls against Messi that should have been a booking everytime.
UEFA has invited Argentina to a meaningless tournament, that's all it is. Mexico has played at the Copa America two dozen times by now, it doesn't mean they will ditch their confederation.
Nations League might get us some better friendlies than we might otherwise schedule, but that's about it.
