Team has become better and better. More additions in the offing. Time to say goodbye to ADM and perhaps Otamendi. Find another RB and get Musso/Benitez in goal although Armani remains the number one. Great tournament from him.

I hope Gallardo if he does take over includes the likes of Samuel Scaloni and company plus Beccacece at tournament time.

He had a lot of stupid turnovers. Good in the air as usual though

I like this squad. They fight for every ball. Even sometimes when they shouldn't like when Lo Celso gave up the penalty.

Looks like they changed the rules or something.

He played reasonably well. But we need to blood in a new defensive centreback pairing. Trouble is they are young and unproven at this level. Players like Romero for instance. There is a gap between them and Otamendi, Kannemann and Pezzella.

I would love to see CONMEBOL refute any appeal. CONMEBOL should just dissolve itself. It is a rotten corrupt body.

I would get a hefty ban after I pushed him over SR.

I’m pretty furious. It was an outrage once again. It deprived us from having our full team there but those 40 minutes or so should be a building block. These ugly ********ers did what they wanted since the ref stood there like statue. I hope our players rip him a new one.

Kun was good. He took over the captaincy and fought for every ball.

Dybala was very good. That touch and spin was a thing of beauty. I was worried it was a bit heavy but that flick was masterclass. More of that at a Juve, please.

I don’t think our defense worried a great deal. Some mistakes but overall a better showing, to a degree. Still need fixing.

Armani stood tall. Good showing after the first two matches.

Lo Celso was good as well. A real talent. We have to find a place for him.

De Paul. Fantastic, surprise of the tournament in my book. One of the bigger Italian sides will be wanting him.

Messi stepped it up in the last few games. Kudos to him, threw on his big boy pants. If he shows this determination and will, we should be okay.

Pretty much most of our players played well. Only ones below par were Di María, Lo Celso, Messi, Guido.

Di Maria was playing like he lost his puppy. Dafaq is wrong with him? Basta. No more.

This team made me more optimistic for the future. We all knew that this Copa would be difficult to win. We came out as a much better team than when we started. If we have some changes in the back, get rid of the deadwood from our squad and Conmebol gets more competent referees, then I fancy our chances in the next Copa.

Messi was our best player vs Brazil and today until the sending off. Deserves kudos for that. Looking back, it wouldn’t make a difference if he scored three hat-tricks in the GS.

The worst is the Di María hate. He's been our 2nd or 3rd best player for 10 years. Shows up in big matches. Hampered by injuries during tournaments unfortunately. I'm pretty sure that had we had him in the 2014 WC final, we win. Guess it's his style of play which is lots of goofy but harmless mistakes punctuated with brilliant moments.

Internazionale were very interested. Tottenham have expressed an interest allegedly. Him at Inter would help the seleccion and foster some chemistry with Martinez. I'm pretty sure they never played together at Racing. Sandinista will confirm.

He had a hard road and he does give it his all. He never intentionally under performs. He has had his moments. It is such a shame that the friendlies where we pummelled the Germans did not happen in the finals. He scored and played a blinder. Unfortunate with injury as well. But time to move on to the next generation of wingers. de Paul could take over and should. And then we open a spot in midfield for Lo Celso-Santi-Paredes/Foyth.
