Given the Quake-heavy squad Arena has chosen for this friendly in our backyard, I think it's an outrage that he did not call up Onstad. This guy has three shutouts already and is looking like a real up-and-comer. Yet Bruce goes and picks Nick Rimando -who is in rotten form - and brings in some guy all the way from France.

Bruce is a former goalkeeper himself, so maybe he knows something I don't, but I would think Bruce would want to take a good look at Pat Onstad.

I think that Onstad is Canadian. And a pretty old one at that.

Aw, you beat me to it...

On the subject of Onstad, though, I'm glad to see he bounced back from that freakiest of freakish own-goals and is playing so damn well. Nice to see an A-League vet do well in MLS.

LMFAO. Apparently his scrollbar doesn't work, because, what, a whole 10 or so threads down the page is this: Onstad called up to Canadian National Team...

But anyone who's seen this poster's previous expressions about Onstad knows he's taking the piss, trolling for attention.

    Closed.
